Uneasy

"Ashley hurry up you're going to be late!" screamed my mom from downstairs. I checked the clock on my phone. 7:38.
"School doesn't start till 8:40! Ugghhhh! How many times do I have to tell you, you're definition of late is two hours before hand!" I replied sarcastically.
"And how many times do I have to remind YOU that you take three billion years to get ready?"

"So where's breakfast?" I ask disregarding her comment

"Table" my mom replied. As I made my way over to our dark brown kitchen table I felt my phone buzz.
Tyler: Hey what time are you coming up to school?
Me: probably around 8:30 unless my mom shoves me out the door again.
Tyler: any chance I can get you to come up earlier? I need to talk to you about something important.
Me: yeah sure. Is everything okay?
Tyler: yeah I'll see you soon bye I love you
Me: I love you too

Is this it? Am I about to be asked to prom?! It's only a month away! Holy shit I feel like I'm about to throw up! Tyler and I have been dating for about three years now and things have gotten pretty serious between us recently. "Aaron is going to give you a ride to school okay? So be ready in time"

"Got it! Hey mom I think Tyler is going to ask me to prom today!!"

"Really?! Honey that's great! We can pick out a dress together,i can help you do your hair and makeup, we can-
"Mom calm down! I'll come to you if I need help okay? Just please calm down!"
"Alright , alright. Just go get ready and tell me if it happens!"
"Okay I will just please never do that again!"
I made my way up the stairs to my room. Should I dress casual or sexy?

After trying on about four different outfits ranging from sweats to tight pants and shirts I got a text.

Unknown: hey Ashley ;)
Me: who is this?
Unknown : you know me. We've met. Too long ago for you to remember but I've never forgotten about you Ashley Hudson.
Me: okay who the hell are you and how did you get my number?
No response

Wanting to just forget about it, I deleted the messages and threw on a blue shirt that Tyler loves as well as a pair of black skinny jeans and my converse.
