Diomēdēs and Ariadnê would have been friends if they had met outside of the battlefield. They would have been kindred spirits, you know. I had wanted to write a scene where the two of them did meet before the Trojan War. If her love interests weren't gods, then she would have had her pick between Diomēdēs, Hektōr, and Aineíās. Though knowing her, she probably would have married one of their wives just to spite the patriarchy.
I wanted to expand on the friendship that she has with Hektōr and Aineíās. The friendship that she has after they stop sleeping together. They'd be another version of Beckendorf and Travis to her.
I didn't expand on Helénē's fate, leaving that up to you all to imagine yourselves. Does Will manage to save her before she succumbs to her wounds or does she go off to live happily ever after with her husband and with a new trade agree with Castellan and Hisarlik since Paris is dead? I don't know. You decide.
Ajax did die in that igloo.
Katie had the most kills out of them after they joined the war.
If they didn't fall into the "Sleep", they would go to create the Grecian Empire that Alexander failed in completing. Sparta, Hisarlik, Athens, Argos, and Castellan would be the ruling kingdoms of the empire and Katie would go on to be the Empress because everyone is rightfully terrified of her.
Camp Halfblood 2.0 is not called that. It's Camp Hera because yk, Camp Jupiter. And it has its own city that's fondly called Hestia's Hearth. <3
Do not fret! We will be seeing more of Menelaos, Helénē, Diomēdēs, Hektōr, and Aineíās in the rewrite of Ocean's Offspring and also in the Final Book of the SeaSquared series. We'll also see Ahkilles mainly because of the River Styx!
The love story of Ariadnê and Apollôn is not over nor is the love story between Ariadnê and Hermês.
Admittedly, I wanted to write a part where Ariadnê and Connor tried to have a relationship, but since Ariadnê was ultimately going to end up with her paramours, I decided against it because the dynamics of the group gets thrown off.
The storyline between Ariadnê and Luke and Silena isn't over either. While Percy has made his peace with them and their actions so that has to be closed.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but I took out the curse that Hêrê placed on Ariadnê simply because I couldn't find a way to make it fit and because I no longer want to explore that. There will be two versions of the Final Book in the SeaSquared series. One that follows the original writing and another that follows the rewrite so the curse won't even matter.
These are being written to completion and then I'll be posting them after a small hiatus.
There also some extras that I originally wanted to post that I'm now reworking into the rewrites and an extra or two that has already been posted that will be reworked into them.
In my head, most of these will be completed (and posted) by either the end of 2024.
