The Rise Of Dawktrap!

Chapter Three: Manipulation

In the morning, Dawko checks his YouTube channel, and his eyes widen when he sees how many views the Dawktrap video has.

"A million views? That's unbelievable since I rarely get that many views," Dawko says in disbelief.

"Do you see what I told you? There's already growth on your channel," Glitchtrap says to Dawko.

"I guess you're right, but did we have to lock Billie up?" Dawko asks, in regret.

"We had to lock her away because she wouldn't understand that this was for your channel," Glitchtrap says, pointing this out to Dawko.

"Then, should we tell her?" In his head, Dawko questions Glitchtrap.

"That's not a good idea, and do you think she'll listen to you after what you did yesterday?" In response to his question, Glitchtrap asks.

"I wasn't myself, though," Dawko points out to Glitchtrap.

"That's where you're wrong because Dawktrap is now a part of you," Glitchtrap explains to Dawko.

Dawko has doubts about what he's saying, but what if he's right?

"Perhaps you're right, but I want to check on her," Dawko says, sighing.

"Fine, if you insist, but I think this is a waste of time," Glitchtrap says, rolling his eyes.

A sigh escapes Dawko's lips as he gets up to check on Billie.

He opens the closet and goes in to untie Billie and remove the tape from her mouth.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened," Dawko says, sighing as he glances at her.

"I know we've been together for a long time, but I think we need some space," Billie says, turning her gaze away from Dawko.

"Wait, Billie, what do you mean?" Dawko asks, his voice sad.

"You don't act like the man I fell in love with, and I don't feel safe around you," Billie says as she takes a step back from Dawko.

"Billie, please don't leave me!" Dawko says, looking as if he's about to cry.

"I'm sorry, Lewis. Until we figure this out, I think it's best if we stay away from each other," Billie says as she sighs, looking sad now too.

Dawko looks away from her, his eyes glistening with tears.

"Oh yeah, and I'll be taking Mabel with me," Billie says, sighing.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think she's safe around you either," Billie says as she explains this to Dawko.

"No, please not Mabel!" Dawko begs Billie not to take Mabel with her.

"I'm sorry, but my mind has made up its decision," Billie says as she whistles for Mabel and the dog comes running to her.

"Can I at least pet her before you go, Billie?" Dawko asks Billie to let him touch Mabel.

Billie nods and lets him pet Mabel one last time before she departs.

"Billie, please don't leave me!" Dawko sobs as he begs Billie not to leave him.

"I love you, too, but I'm sorry, this is for the best," Billie says as she walks out of the room with Mabel.

After Billie leaves, Dawko falls to the ground in tears.

"It appears that did not go well," Glitchtrap says inside Dawko's head.

"I can't believe that she left me," Dawko says, crying.

"I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen to me," Glitchtrap says, pointing this out to Dawko.
