"It's best to strike now, they are at an open venue, no one'll notice for a while." One man said.

"No, I don't think now's the right time." Another argued.

"You always say that!" The first one barked.

"And I'm right always!"

"True, but I think now's the time."

"Listen, I'm the boss here okay, slow and steady always win, why rush?" The second one, who's apparently the boss replied calmly.

"I've been waiting years for this day, and your not stopping me from succeeding!" The first one fumed and exited the boss' office slamming the door shut on his way out.

It was now probably three weeks after Harrie found out of her pregnancy and her dad was having a special dinner party. Turns out the project he was working on was a success and this party was in honour of its launch, so ofcourse Harrie had to attend.

So after hours of going through her closet to find the perfect dress that won't show her not yet prominant baby bump, but one that was still yet elegant, she got dressed.

Since Harrie found out she was pregnant, she's been a lot careful about what she wears around Genevieve and Des. So she now spends hours picking out the right outfit instead of just going with what her eyes first lands on.

Thankfully though, she was one of the lucky ones, she didn't have morning sickness, which initially surprised her, but she just took it as luck.

And no, she hadn't visited a doctor yet, she had been too scared to schedule a doctor's appointment, although Zayn tried convincing her on many occasions, she was just stubborn. But anyways, back the he story.

Harrie took some deep breaths to calm herself before exiting her bedroom going down the stairs.

"You look beautiful angel." Des kissed Harrie's forehead.

"Thanks daddy." She smiled completely ignoring Genevieve, whose stare she could feel burning into her soul.

Not long after they were on their way to the venue in Des' luxurious limo.

When they arrived, millions of flash went off, every news outlet wanting a picture of the very successful business man.

Des, Genevieve and Harrie entered the venue, Des security detail trailing him and Genevieve while Zayn and another man who Harrie didn't know the name of tailed her.

Everything was going smoothly, they stood for the cameras for a bit and then entered the building. Upon entering, all heads turns to them, well it does pay off to be fashionably late to your own business dinner.

Twenty minutes into the event went by with Harrie trailing behind her dad meeting and greeting everyone and that had her feeling sick.

So sick she felt as though she might pass out if she don't leave these people.

"Are you okay?" Zayn immediately noticed.

"Hmm I think I might be sick." As soon as those words left Harrie's lips, Zayn quickly but subtly got Harrie away from everyone and to the nearest bathroom. Harrie's other assigned bodyguard for the night tailing them.

As to not be suspicious, Zayn instructed the other bodyguard to stay guard outside to make sure no one else entered while he went in with Harrie.

Harrie rushed into one off the bathroom stalls immediately emptying the contents of her stomach into the toilet, Zayn holding her hair out of her face.

"Feeling better now?" Zayn asked her after she had rinsed her mouth and was standing and just gripping at the countertop.

Harrie nodded, "I'll be fine." She absolutely hated being sick that's why she literally thanked the heavens she didn't have morning sickness, well looks like that's coming to her now, and at night?

Zayn rubbed her back, "Let's get you some fresh air." They broke apart and he lead them out and outside the building through a side exit, the other bodyguard just going along with them.

Harrie stood outside taking deep breaths immediately starting to feel a bit better. Fresh ari really did wonders sometimes. She mentally noted to stay away from crowds throughout the rest of her pregnancy if she wanted to survive. Being sick definately wasn't her cup of tea.

Boy did she underestimate the wonders of pregnancy. Note the sacarsm.

They stood there for a bit, admire the night's sky, enhaling the fresh air and embracing the wonders of mother nature kn such a beautiful night. But sadly no one ever has the fairytale life for that long.

Everything happened so quick, it was like a scene in a movie was being acted out.

Guns were fired, fists were thrown, screams were heard.

And Zayn was laying in a pool of his own blood on the brink of passing out, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted the other body guard that was there with them leading Harrie away, for which he only hoped it was to safety.

But was he so heart wrenchingly wrong.

A night of cheers and congratulations turned into a night of loss and deep sorrow, a night of terror, all because of one man.
