The police bust the door down. I am crying begging for mercy. I would give my life to God at this point. I just want peace and comfort. The police examined my house and found no blood in the kitchen. "What? I got stabbed in the kitchen and a bunch of blood trails were left behind.." I claimed. Then they went upstairs and I followed behind them. Again, they checked every room. And they reached my room. No blood. No mess. Nothing bloody or dirty that was there when the killer attacked. All gone. "This isn't funny" the one police officer said. I looked down and the only bloody thing was my hands, back, and arm. I said, No, No, look at my arm, my back. I am completely almost covered in blood. They took me to the hospital. I can't believe it. The killer literally cleaned up their mess. I woke up about 30 minutes later. Nothing too bad. I got stitches. They called my parents. Then, I realized my parents weren't there when the attack happened. I tried not to think about it, but now it really hit me. Where were my parents? I got struck with the most depressing feeling. What if they got.. Killed? No. That can't be. They are alive.
Doctor: Scarlett..
Scarlett: Yes?
Doctor: I'm afraid your parents have.. Gone missing.
Scarlett: ...No. That doesn't make sense.
Doctor: I'm sorry, Scarlett. It's the truth. Your parents have been missing since your attack 6 hours ago.
Doctor: Do you know anybody you can stay with until we find more information about your parents?
Scarlett: Theres a few people, but theres only one that I think can actually keep me safe.
Doctor: Okay, please fill out this sheet so we can get information about the person you would recommend to live with.
Scarlett: Ok, thanks.
I was staring at the form just hoping that my parents would show up somehow. I just can't believe that they just vanished. That can't be right, there has to be more to it. I really hope they're okay. And if they're not, I'm going to find out who murdered my parents and make sure they pay. I finally picked up the courage to fill out the sheet and I gave it to the doctor. I was still scared for my parents but I had no other choice but to be told what to do. I mean, I still am a child. I can't do anything about the situation. Just yet. I'm planning something, And it's going to be a hell of a ride. As I was waiting in the hospital to be picked up by Brin's parents, I still thought and replayed the whole situation that happened a few hours ago. I made sure to pay attention closely to the details to see if I missed anything to tell the police about. I remember my parents were in the kitchen right before I went upstairs, and I got attacked. I remember that my parents didn't leave, but there was no blood on the kitchen counter, except for mine, so they must of went somewhere and they probably aren't coming back anytime soon. They probably left because they knew that they would get attacked too. My parents don't care about me. They just care about themselves and now I know. My whole life I thought my parents loved me. But they're such pussies. They run away and make me take care of myself, and get attacked on my own. I've never met anybody in my whole life who would do something like that. I got so furious that I went to the doctor and told him everything.
Scarlett: Just so you know, my parents aren't missing. They fled the scene because they are pussies and they can't protect their own daughter. They had to know i was getting attacked. Cause I got attacked at school. And when I told them about it, they tried to act like they cared but I saw that look on their face that they get when they are scared. They try to act like they care. And i'm just realizing this? My whole life they have alway-
Doctor: Woah, woah, Scarlett. Calm down. I know how you feel. You're getting fumed up because you can't think what to do without them. But are all these accusations and assumptions true?
Scarlett: Yes, yes they are, Doctor O'Hara. And I know they are true.
Doctor: Scarlett, calm down. Take a breath outside and Brin's parents will be here before you know it.
I walk outside my room to take a breather like the doctor said. I faintly saw a mysterious black figure with seemed to look like it was wielding a weapon of some sort. It looked sharp, like some sort of kitchen knife. As the figure approached me, I started to see what the figure actually looked like. It looked like a person in all black. The Bryxton killer was inside the hospital. I wiped my eyes and the figure was gone. Then the hospital lights shut off and flickered on and off, and everybody screamed in fear and panic. Everybody, even the extremely hurt people were rushing out the hospital, but I was trying to investigate. I wasn't going to let this killer get away with what they were doing this time. Even if it means risking my life, I'm still willing to find a way to end this killer once and for all. It was until the very moment when I got stabbed in my leg and my shin, and then got slit on my forehead was the moment that I went in a fight or flight mode. I have never been this close to the killer fighting him before. I quickly grabbed a piece of shattered glass off the ground and slipped open a piece of the black outfit open. I could tell the person was white. I quickly started slitting and cutting more pieces of the outfit up until I could figure out who the killer was. The killer was very stealthy and fast.He fled before I could examine him. Fuck, I said. Even Brin's parents drove away after seeing what was going on in the hospital. All the havoc and chaos created made everybody drive away. It was only me and the doctors trying to fight the killer away. Until it was just me left. Fighting the killer one on one. I was at a loss of words, and I couldn't believe I almost figure out who the Bryxton killer was. I try to find a way home using my phone, but my phone was too shattered and glitchy to figure out anything. One of my favorite doctors, Dr. Mya gave me a ride home. And I was really grateful to have her by my side. But I knew I couldn't be back home alone, so I asked, "Dr. Mya do you think I can come home with you?" She answered with "yes", and took me home. Julian called, and he said he could start an investigation. He planned on being a detective when he's older. I don't know how that'll work out for him. But i'm in for it. We called, he had nothing. He kept on trying, but no luck. It's been a week! any luck..?
