Jade POV

I stepped out of the black convertible and felt the cold London air blow across my bare legs. I tugged at the dress my mother bought me and quickly hurried after my friends into the restaurant.

They headed straight for the bar to order drinks and I lingered behind as usual taking a seat on an empty stool.

Camila handed out a variety of drinks to people after the bartender served us and she immediately held hers in the air ready for a toast. My other friend Lauren handed me a colorful drink in a talk glass and I took it hesitantly.

"Cheers to the end of high school and the beginning of a new chapter in our lives!" she cheered.

I brought the drink to my lips and sipped it lightly not knowing how to react to the strong fruity taste.

"Congratulations Class of 2015!" Lauren chanted throwing back another drink while her boyfriend Brad clung to her side.

I set my drink on the counter and crossed my legs, smoothing out my dress.

"Jade!" my boyfriend Sam yelled walking over to me. I smiled up at him and he pressed his lips roughly to mine.

I scrunched my nose up slightly as I could already smell the alcohol in his breath and we haven't even been here for five minutes. His arms made their way around my waist and I put the palms of my hands on his chest pushing him away gently.

"Sam, remember we are in public.." I trailed off scooting a bit away to get some of my personal space back.

Sam nodded, "Guess we'll have to wait until later then right?" he winked at me and then started talking to the bartender.

I tried to push what he said out of my head and I quickly excused myself from my friends and walked to the restrooms in the back.

In the mirror my reflection was one I didn't recognize. It had similar features but there weren't any emotions left. All feeling was drained away long ago. But I learned to deal with it and just accept it.

I splashed a little bit of water on my face and then touched up my makeup before returning back out to my friends.

Camila smiled brightly when she saw me and I mustered a small smile back. She grabbed my hands and hugged me tightly, "I love you so much Jade. You, me and Lauren are going shopping all day tomorrow before the carnival okay?"

I shrugged slightly and pushed my hair out of my face, "I was planning on just staying at home and cleaning up a bit in the garden with my mother."

Camila scoffed and rolled her eyes, "We're going shopping. I'll talk to your mother for you." she said before spinning on her heels and walking to Lauren.

I returned to my spot on the stool and tuned out everyones loud conversations.

This will be a long summer.

Harry POV

I ran a hand through my thick curls as my friends and I walked down the sidewalk to the park like we always do after school. Except today was graduation and we were officially done with high school.

"You know, to be honest, I thought it would be different. But I honestly feel exactly the same as I did this morning when I woke up." Niall frowned as he walked backwards facing the rest of us.

Louis rolled his eyes and flicked him in the forehead, "What did you expect? Good thing we love you."

Niall glared at him and then shrugged, "I dont know, but I thought it would be different."

"But nothing is going to be different. Because we are all best friends who are going to be together for a long time." Perrie smiled as she kissed her boyfriend Zayns cheek. She is someone who you could never be mad at. She can find the positive in any situation no matter whats going on. If there was a tornado coming down ready to kill us all, she would probably smile and start talking about how perfectly formed it is. But we love her for it.

I nodded agreeing with her and adjusted the food basket over my shoulder.

"Would you like me to carry it for you?" Liam and Jesy said at the same time.

Jesy punched him in the arm, "Jinx!"

Liam winced and rubbed his arm, "What the hell Jes, you hit hard."

"Is that not what you're suppose to do when you jinx?" she asked looking around confused.

Leigh-anne petted her head and sighed, "No babe. Not at all."

Everyone chuckled lightly as she just shrugged and kept walking.

As we made it to the park we walked into the woods and down the trail we have worn down after numerous times of stepping over it.

Perrie pushed aside the wall of vines revealing the opening to a field full of plentiful flowers and a huge sycamore tree just off to the left.

We all scampered over to the tree and Leigh laid out the blanket as we all took seats in the shade.

"I'm so glad we found this place." she smiled laying on her back looking up at the branches. I copied her movements and marveled at the scene just above our heads, "Its truly beautiful." I mumbled.

Everyone laid on their backs looking up and we stayed like that for a while just taking in the scenery and enjoying the company of eachother.

Louis was the one to finally break the silence, "This will be a good summer."
