A couple of weeks had passed after the lessons in the library between Ikiara and Luridad, the young girl had finished most if not all the elemental magic books on the library, though she had mostly learned them by theory rather than actually use them on the wild, which came to the attention of the girl in black and white.

Thanks to this she suggested them to go make take another job, now they were making their way through the village to the board, soon enough they reached it and stood looking up at the various papers with different jobs on it, "so... what exactly are we looking for?" Ikiara asked not moving her sight from the board, "well we are trying to find something that will require elemental magic so we can test how much you have learned and if you can apply it on practice" Luridad responded.

"Alrigth that makes sense "she responded nodding and continuing to look around, after that they heard a familiar chuckle beside them, though the black eyes female chose to ignore it, Ikiara looked in the direction of the voice instead, making her sigh a bit, seeing that the blonde girl from the other day was there.

"Look what the cat brought; the little space girl is looking to make a job?" Elizabeth said with a sly smile and her hand under her chin, "well yeah... that's what this place is for, what are you doing here?" she responded crossing her arms "oh I often come here because it's amusing to see the low classes having to come here, of course I get only the most requested job delivered to me" she added with smug smile on her face.

"Are you done talking now?" Ikiara said cutting her off before she could say something else "you know I am kinda looking to do something useful right now, and if you are so much better why don't you do the same... you can do something useful can't you?" she spoke with a stern look, making Elizabeth blink for a moment, glaring at her and turning around without saying a thing, leaving them soon after.

"Hey I think I found something good" Luridad called out, catching the other girl's attention and making her turn back around, smiling softly and leaning over to look at the paper she had on her hands "so what is it?" she asked curiously. "Someone needs a flower from the enchanted forest, it's deep on its core so it's a bit dangerous for normal people but shouldn't be a problem for us" she informed her.

"This place is perfect for you! The enchanted fortress has a lot of elemental anomalies and it means that there will tons of chance to test your skills!" Luridad cheered happily, making Ikiara smiled a bit more, her sweetness always made her forget about her worries, even if it was ever so slightly.

"Very well then, we should get going in that case" Ikiara said smiling, making the other female cheer once more, taking her hand and wasting no time to start dragging the purple eyed female away from the village so they could get to the forest.

-later-

When they girls arrived to the forest, there were trees in front of them, blues and greens filling the area with a calm atmosphere, or at least it seemed like this at first," alrigth things may seem calm now but keep your eyes open, this place can pop out anomalies at any point" she explained looking over at her friend.

"Uh... something like that?" Ikiara said as she pointed forward, seeing that a large tree in front of them was being frozen as they spoke, "yep! Exactly like that" Luridad said "now we could go around of course but you could also take these at the first test of your skills".

"What do you mean?" Ikiara asked her "well this tree is pretty much just ice at this point, so why don't test a fire spell on it? This place is always changing stuff around anyways" the pearl skin female responded "what do you say? You wanna try it out?", "I suppose it wouldn't hurt" she said, taking a small breath and then extended her hands, placing them together and closing her eyes.

After a couple of seconds, she separated her hands, conjuring a flame, struggling to keep it controlled, but she managed to make it grow in size enough for it to engulf the frozen tree and melt it into water, after seeing the monochromatic female clapped her hands with a wide smile on her face "nicely done fallen angel! Let's keep moving!" she said, walking forward as Ikiara panted a little, but she soon smiled a little as well and walked after her to continue on their way.

After advancing more within the forest, they came across a water fall blocking their way... except it was not water what was flowing on the river, instead it was a swarm of fire "uh... is this a fire fall?" Ikiara said, trying to come up with a name for the unusual anomaly in front of her, making the other female giggle a bit "yeah I think that's a good name for it, there is a tunnel that connects to the core of the forest, we need to put it out if we want to get the flower "she told her "Time for another test, why don't you try?" she suggested.

"Okay" she said softly, making a triangle sing with her hands and closing her eyes trying to concentrate and gather the magic within her fingers and create a water spell, she seemed to be struggling so Luridad decided to walk over to her, gently taking her hands "hey you don't to over think it, just relax and let it flow through you, just like how water does" she said with a soft smile.

Ikiara blushed a light tone of red from this feeling, "a...alrigth" with that she relaxed, allowing a whirl of water to emanate from her hands, expanding towards the fire fall and creating a large cloud of steam and revealing the tunnel in front of them "amazing! come on we got to get in quick before this gets filled with something" she said dragging her into the tunnel, both of them getting and resuming their walk.

They continued on their way until they got out of the tunnel and found themselves on area with grass on the floor and surrounded by various trees, in the ground there seemed to be some sort of crystals, and inside of them the flowers that they have been tasked to retrieve.

"Wait. how are we going to get the flowers if they are like this? the request specified that they wanted only the flowers right?" Ikiara said in confusion as she looked towards Luridad "indeed fallen angel, which brings us to the last test of your abilities today, these crystals will fade away after coming on contact with lighting magic" she told her.

"Oh... okay then I will do my best!" she said with a determined smile, taking a step backing and moving a hand back, as if she was bending a bow ready to fire an arrow, letting out a small breath and opening her hand, a bolt of lighting emerging from it and blitzing into the crystals, her hair flowing from the force.

Seconds after the crystals faded away, leaving the flowers on the grass and allowing Luridad to pick them up "that was perfect fallen angel!" she cheered, to which Ikiara rubbed the back of her head, letting out a flustered chuckle "Hehe, well I guess coming here with you really helped me, so I say this idea was a success" she commented as she walked back to her side.

"Just like this job! Come on let's go back before it gets dark, father is going to be so proud!" the girl in black and white spoke happily after both of them started to head back so they could get back to the village as soon as possible, content with the progress made that day.
