I took my sword from its sheath, this was the final battle. The place I made my stand. I rushed, a warriors cry leaving my lungs as I raised my sword high over my head. It was raining, the castle had fallen, rubble lay among the mud and grass. My sword clashed with the man in front of me, sending his to the ground. Turning the blade, I brought it up, smacking him in the chin and leaving a large gash along his face as he screamed in pain. Bringing my blade above my head, I smashed it down into his skull.

I swirled, turning to the man behind me and raising my foot to kick him in the gut. I flipped my blade, bringing it up quickly and down again into the man's chest. He screamed in agony, writhing beneath my foot as I let out my breath. A body knocked into my back, sending me falling forward. With a twist I brought my blade up to stop the one falling toward my face.

Lightning flashed, illuminating the battlefield. My comrades screamed the same as our enemies, blades clashed, blood flew. I brought both of my knees to my chest, kicking the man before me with all of my might. He flew back, his comrades catching him before they rushed off, and he stormed toward me as he steadied himself. I stood, eyes blazing with rage as I sucked in a deep breath. With a roar I charged, raising my blade to point it at his chest as he raised his above his head with a battle cry of his own.

His blade came down on my shoulder as mine scratched his side. I screamed in my own agony, spit flying from my mouth as I fell away from his blade. My arm felt numb, weak, but I held my ground. Hands tightening around my sheath as I took a step back and swung with all the might I could muster as he began to bring his blade back down on me. It flew, ripping from his hands as the tip of my blade scratched his armor. He brought his fists up, taking a defensive stance as I moved in to shove him with my shoulder.

With a punch to my face I threw my weight into his body, blood flying from my mouth as my teeth cut my cheek open. He fell, landing on his ass as I swirled and brought my blade back around. With a cut to his neck, I fell, panting on my knees as I raised my head to the heavens and screamed.
