It has been 10 years since Roger's execution and sightings of the renowned storyteller have increased but always managed to get away before the marines could see them.
You changed quite a bit. Physically but mentally? You don't know. You felt empty somehow like a hole in your heart ever since Roger was gone.
Your hairstyle
Your outfit for the whole pre timeskip
You are currently playing your shamisen and telling a story at East Blue on the island called Dawn Island in a village called Foosha Village, far away from the Goa Kingdom.
You made some friends including Garp's grandson, Luffy. You even met two more kids in the forest not far from here named Ace and Sabo. They were very interested in your stories, including Roger's final journey when he found you.
At first, Ace was hesitant and told you that he already knew him from the stories he heard and hated them but you told him that everything from the tales you told is from experience and the real truth so he said that he will give it a shot first before he decides to listen more or not and here he is, listening to your tales.
You were confused about why he hated Roger so much but found out from Sabo that Ace is Roger's son which shocked you tremendously.
Why didn't you know about this? Well, you probably haven't been in the crew for long since it was only 2 years of traveling with them.
(I know I made a mistake in the previous chapter so I will fix it after I'm done with this one)
But it doesn't matter much to you. Even if he is, you just have to let him know that his father is not what he thinks through your stories.
But what they're even more interested in is the power you hold while playing your shamisen. It was immersive and they could visualize the battles and adventures you've been through.
Luffy kept asking you to do more magic but you politely refused, causing him to pout.
"(First Name)!! You got to see this!!" Luffy came running inside the bar.
