His Mistake

?????'? POV  (Past)

"Damn It!" I yelled in frustration as I ran. 'These guys just doesn't know when to quit!' I complained looking behind me. 
There, Running after me was a wolf with gray fur, orange eyes, red body armor and a blue-purple cape. He wore boots with a black bounty hunter suit and yellow emblem. 
Running next to the wolf was a Mutant Dingo-

I'm being chased by no other than Sleet and Dingo! Of course the one time they actually come up with a good plan, It's when I'm separated from my siblings! Right now I'm running and  Jumping atop hovering platforms. 
Since I don't have my brother's speed, They're coming real close to catching me. I can't let that happen. I'm too far from home and I have my Medallion with me. I can't let them get it.

"Erm, Boss? He's not showing signs of stopping anytime soon, he doesn't even look exhausted" Dingo pointed out the obvious as He panted. I turned a corner and quickly hid behind a pole, Holding onto my Medallion as I scanned around for a easy way to loose them and get home "That's Because he's used to running, have you forgotten the Kid's sibling?" Sleet said turning the corner "What the-" "Where'd he go?" Dingo asked as he came around the corner as well "I don't know, but he couldn't have gone far. The kid can run, but he's not that fast" Sleet said walking past the pole i'm hiding behind "Besides, This area is under the Doctor's control! even if he managed to get away from us, they'll be hundreds of Badniks and Eggbots! not to mention Scratch and Grounder will be there at both Entrance and Exits!" Sleet Laughed and I cursed under my breath ' How the hell am I supposed to escape now!? ' I thought ' I can't summon my drums right now, they're too close, they'll see the glow and hear it when summoned. ' I looked down over the platforms. There's Liquid rising up, a purpley-pink color. I remember seeing this in one of Robotnik's Labs. I never paid attention to their conversation so I don't know much about it. All I can remember Is that it's called 'Mega Mack' and from what I'm looking at, It should have the consistency of Water. Though, Since it's made by Eggman, I probably shouldn't touch it.

Just then, I got an Idea.

I moved from behind the pole and jumped atop a hovering platform "Hey Idiots! Come and catch me!" I called out as I jumped to the other side and ran. "Dingo! After him!" Sleet yelled "Hey, Why do I have to go after him?" Dingo Asked and Sleet replied with "Just, Go!" as he pressed a button oh his controller, turning Dingo into a kangaroo so that he could catch up to me quickly. I ran into a corner where It seems I could be trapped. The sides of the platforms were open, leaving the rising liquid easily accessible. I backed up more against the wall. "got you cornered now ya pesky hedgehog!" Sleet says as Dingo hopped towards me. "Awh man, looks like you caught me.." I said, raising my hands in the air. Dingo hopped closer to grab me "Did you really think you could get awa- AAhH!?" "Dingo!!" I Kicked Dingo into the Mega Mack, watching him fall and sink down as his screams faded "Hah! Serves you right!" I cheered, My plan worked "Why You Little-! Rragh!" Sleet launched at me ' Shit! I forgot about Sleet! ' I dodged him ' I'll just repeat the same process ' I thought as I kicked him back "I'll make you PA-!" I pushed him off the ledge. Or so I thought "AH!" Sleet had grabbed onto my Medallion, pulling me down with his grip "You Brat!" He yelled at me as I tried making him release his grip 'I'm so fucking screwed!' I panicked.

He was barely holding on to the edge as I struggled to release his grip "Hand It over to me!" He demanded "As If! I wouldn't give it to you even if you begged!" I kicked his face making him loose his grip on the edge. He grabbed hold of my Jewel, pulling me with him into the Toxic water "You're coming with Me!" "NO!!"
