Chapter-3(The call)

The call was from New York and the women who spoke to me is the manager of the hollywood's most famous Director John Alcan,

Half an hour ago... Conversation between Wilma(Manager) and Angelina,

Wilma(Manager) - Hello Ms. Sánchez I'm Wilma the manager of movie director Mr. John Alcan, congratulations you've passed the auditions and our director has requested a meeting with you here in New York this Saturday so would you be able to make it to our office this week to meet him? He wants to have a discussion with you regarding your role and some more details about the movie

I dropped my phone from my hand as the woman on call gave me a brief introduction on who she was and why she called me, I dropped my phone and my jaw was almost touching my bedroom floor and I was extremely shocked after what I just heard. I screamed - "WHAT THE FUCK?!" I then heard voices from my phone of the women talking to me coming from the other side "Ah miss.. Hello, can you hear me?",

(𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫:Angelina talking to herself) - "Shit I forgot the call is still connected.. *cough* *sighs* Just fucking great Angie" I picked up my phone from the floor and answered her - "hey, ah yes of course, sorry I accidentally dropped my phone and of course I can for sure make it your office in this week"

Wilma(Manager) - "Great! I'll send you the flight ticket, Mr. Alcan has specifically asked me to do so you won't have any kind of inconvenience coming down here. As soon as you've reached here there will be a black car waiting for you at the airport to pick you up and will drop you straight to our office safely"

Angelina - "Ooh, thank you so much!"

As soon as the call ended I put my phone aside and walk over to the side of my room where my piano was then sat in front of it- oh wait did I forgot to mention that I'm also a music lover? My dad taught me to play the piano when I was a little girl, I still remember that day like it was just yesterday he made me sit on his lap and held my hands against the piano keys helping me to play, making my fingers dance against the keys in a perfect rhythm and since that day I've been playing it whenever I'm happy or sad the piano music gives me peace and pulling me out of the real world even if it's just for awhile. As my fingers dance against the piano keys I let myself get lost into the soft melody coming from the piano and for a moment I forgot everything but then again my mind still diverted back to that phone call and I still can't believe that I got the lead role in a movie, it was so unexpected but I was on cloud nine. Just when I thought that my life is over after getting fired and was being upset over that lameass 9 to 5 job, now here I am thinking about how life would be like after I've become a famous actress, my dream was finally about to come true. I had tears in my eyes and they were tears of happiness of course, I was really excited to share this news with my family especially with Savannah, they will be really happy to know that I'm finally able to follow my dreams. I heard the front door opening and I ran downstairs, it was mom standing on their I ran to her then hugged her tightly and said- "Mom OMG! OMG! I'm so so so fucking happy right now!! You wouldn't believe the news I just got"

Isabella(Mom) - "Woah steady on and first of all, language young lady! Have I not taught you any manners?"

Angelina - "No puedes hablar en serio madre(𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:You can't be serious mother), oh forget it. I've a got a good news for you!!"

Isabella(Mom) - "Oh, ¿Cuáles son las buenas noticias?" (𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:Oh, What is it good news?)

Although I wanted to wait for Mat, Cam and dad to get home first so I could give them this good news all together but I couldn't hold in my excitement so I told mom everything about that phone call and how I got the role in this new upcoming hollywood movie as the lead actress. I could see the happiness in my mom's eyes and I noticed that her eyes were filled with tears instantly, she hugged me tight once more and said - "M-my baby girl is all grown up now, I am so happy for you my darling Angie." *chuckles* it was kinda cute to see my mom like this crying over it like I'm not getting a role in the movie but getting married to someone. I wiped of her tears with my one hand gently and said "Ok ok mom enough of the crying now, I just gave you a good news don't you think we should celebrate?" She gave me a warm smile and said "I'm sorry dear but you're right we definitely should celebrate so we're all going out for family dinner tonight in your favourite Italian restaurant, just gimme a minute I'll give your dad a call to let him know to meet us their at the restaurant"

Angelina - "Of course! I'll give a call to Mat, Cam and Savy in mean time"

I gave a call to Mat and Cam first so as to tell them to meet me at my favourite restaurant for the family dinner, I told them both that I have a good news and they both kept asking me what it was but I just told them to meet us their if they want to know. I want to surprise them and see their reactions from my eyes when I tell them the big news, Cam even cursed a few times since she isn't fond of surprises or being kept in the dark but I just let her be and laughed it off since I was enjoying messing with her and Mat as usual kept his cool since he is a patient man. I also gave a call to Savannah and she literally screamed in my ear as soon I gave her the news, As much as I love that bitch I wanted to kill her for almost blowing off my ear drums but she was also really happy for me and damn straight she asked me to meet her at the club down town but sadly I had to say no coz as much as I love going out with her I have a family dinner tonight and so we decided to go to the club to celebrate as soon as I'm back from New York.

Later that evening...

We all meet at my favourite Italian restaurant and I gave everyone the big good news, Mat was really happy for me and he hugged me also gave me a kiss on my forehead he is such a caring big brother as always just like dad and Dad did the same. Cam couldn't believe what I just told her but she was also really happy for me and gave me a hug, she also teased me a little on about how when I will become a famous actress I'll completely forgot them all even though she was just messing with me like always but I couldn't help thinking about what she said I still decided to brush it off and enjoyed the evening with my family. We all went home from the restaurant after getting finished with dinner and I got changed and made myself a relaxing soaking bath with my favourite wine before going to bed so as to enjoy my normal life for one last time before it completely changes and I've a feeling that something really challenging is waiting for me in New York...
