Am I Dreaming? [ An akitoya fanfic :D ]

Back To School.

I woke up to Toya's alarm that he always had set for school, and sat up. 

"Toyaaa.." I yawned and looked down at Toya, who was already rubbing his eyes. I decided to rub my eyes too, and stretched my arms. "Time for school.." 

"Mhmm.. I know." He responded quietly. My cheeks flushed slightly as I heard his sleepy voice. 

"Might as well get ready, huh?" I giggled and got up off of the bed, grabbing some clothes out of my drawer. "You can change in the bathroom. It's just a door over from here." I explained calmly, and I pointed outside my door, showing Toya where the restroom was. 

"A-Alright.. thank you." Toya said as he was blushing slightly for some odd reason. Oh well. I shouldn't question it. I closed the door after Toya had exited the room, heading into the bathroom. 

Time skip to the school cuz its early and im tired :sob:

The two males now arrived at the school, walking in and heading to ones locker. Akito decided to follow Toya to his locker. 

" 'Kito, you realize that you're gonna be late to first period, right?" He giggled as he was putting his belongings into his locker. 

"I dont give two fucks." I said smugly. I really didn't care if i got in trouble for being late anymore. I've been late to classes so much, I'm pretty sure the teachers were expecting it. 

"Alright then." Toya said and gathered some things he needed for first period, then gazing at me as he closed his locker. "Why'd you decide to come with me to my locker anyway, 'kito?" He tilted his head in visible confusion.

I shrugged. "Dunno, felt like it, maybe?" I lied. It's because i enjoy being around you, dummy. Though I'm too scared to say anything about it. I started stressing a bit over my thought, though I didn't need to worry about it right now. Hell, I didn't need to worry about anything when I was around Toya. He was like my safe place.

"Hehe, get to class, silly." He smiled and waved as he walked away, heading to his first period. I blushed and headed to my locker, placing my belongings into it, and soon heading to my first period.  

Blah, Blah, Blah.. first period boring. I decided to put in my earbuds, and listen to music. Ifuudoudou? Hell yeah. I could've sworn that the teacher called on me a few times, but i didn't respond, due to me jamming out to my own music. 

Whatever. A few periods passed, being the same way. I finally met up with Toya in the hall. "Yo, Toya! Hold up a sec, will ya?" I ran up to him, panting from how much I just had to run. 

"Ah, hello there, 'Kito." He smiled softly as his gaze looked upon my own. "Need something?" 

"O-Oh... no. Just wanted to ask you somethin'." I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly.

Toya didn't respond with anything, but he did tilt his head, which I knew meant that he was listening to what I had to say.

"You have library duty today, right?" I asked, hoping for an immediate response.

"Yes. Why?" He continued to gaze at me, which made me feel a bit nervous. 

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to come over for practice today." I said suddenly. "I-I understand if not! We can totally do practice another night."

"Sure." Toya's response kinda caught me off guard, but I then smiled. 

"Great! Meet you after your library duty, Toya-kun!" I waved and then headed to my next period.

I was so excited for this.
