Alex woke up with a pounding headache and a sense of confusion. The last thing he remembered was finishing his piano lesson and heading home. He had taken a shortcut through the park, but everything after that was a blur. As he opened his eyes, he realized he was in a small room with what seemed to be no way in or out. The walls were made of concrete, and the only light came from a single bulb hanging from the ceiling. Panic started to set in as he tried to remember how he got there.
Alex got up from the floor and stumbled over to a small table in the corner of the room. On the table, he found a note that read, "You have 24 hours to escape. Good luck." Alex's heart raced as he realized he had been kidnapped. He couldn't imagine who would do this to him or why.
As he looked around the room, Alex noticed a small camera in one corner, and a red light blinked. He also saw a small hole in the wall, just big enough for him to peek through. But there was something else he noticed – a window high up on the wall that he couldn't reach. It was small and seemed to be made of thick, frosted glass. Alex wondered if it was a way out, but he couldn't be sure.
Alex knew he had to stay calm and think clearly if he wanted to get out of there alive. He started to search the room for any clues that might help him escape.
