Alex entered the next room, and he noticed something strange. The room was an exact replica of his bedroom. Every detail was exactly the same, from the posters on the wall to the toys on the floor.

As he approached the bed, he noticed a note sitting on the pillow. It read: "Welcome home, Alex."

Alex's heart sank. He realized that the kidnapper knew more about him than he thought. This was no random abduction. The kidnapper had been planning this for a long time, and he knew everything about Alex's life.

Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind him, and Alex heard a mechanical whirring sound. He looked up and saw that the ceiling was starting to descend towards him.

Alex tried to push the ceiling back up, but it was too heavy. He looked around the room for clues, but everything seemed exactly the same as in his bedroom.

As the ceiling continued to descend, Alex panicked. He realized that he was going to be crushed to death unless he could figure out a way to stop it. He thought back to his grandfather's words and tried to look at the problem from a different perspective.

Just as the ceiling was about to crush him, he saw something out of the corner of his eye. It was a small button hidden in the corner of the room. Alex lunged for it and pressed it just in time.

The mechanical whirring sound stopped, and the ceiling slowly rose back up. Alex lay on the ground, panting and sweating. He realized that he had narrowly escaped death, and he knew that he couldn't let his guard down again.

As he caught his breath, Alex noticed a small hole in the wall. He crawled over to it and peered through. He could see the silhouette of someone moving in the next room. It was the kidnapper. Alex's heart raced as he realized that he was getting closer to finding his captor. He needed to keep going, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
