Meeting Someone New

*Izumi's P.O.V*

I saw a boy about my age right in front of me. He had this yellow with a tint of orange hair and dark yellow eyes. I actually kind of blushed a really light pink seeing him. I don't understand why I would, I mean I just meet him. I can't already like him. He walked closer to me and sat down next to me.

"I'm Kuro Akamine," He said holding out one of his hands. I looked at it and I shook it with the hand that wasn't bleeding.

"I'm Izumi Nakagawa," I told him. He smiled at me which kind of made me blush a little more. He looked at my hand and then he looked back up.

"My house is actually close by, I can bring you there and help you clean up you hand," he said to me.

"Wouldn't your family mind you bringing a complete stranger to your house?" I asked.

"My parents are out of town and my sister is staying the night at one of her friend's house." I looked up and saw that the skies were grey and then I thought to myself before I spoke.

'I just met him, I don't know anything about him. He can be a killer for all I know. But... he's kind of to cute to be a killer. Plus, it looks like its going to rain pretty soon.'.

I nodded and then spoke.

"Sure why not," I said. He stood up and helped me up. We started to walk through a lot of awkward silence. That was until I finally spoke.

"Soon, Kuro how old are you?" I asked.

*Kuro's P.O.V*

When he asked that I almost literally frozen. I can't tell him that I'm a vampire, well not yet. If I really get to know him or if we even become friends, then I'll tell him. But not right now, so I just calmed down and finally answered him.

"I'm 16."

"So am I," he said. "Do you go to my school, because if you do I haven't seen you around."

"No, I go to a special school that I rather not talk about," I told him. He nodded like he understood why. He was so kind, it was really hard not to try and bite his hand or any part of him.

Pretty soon we arrived at my house. Izumi looked relieved to get here. I took him in there and he looked around.

"I'll get the bandages, you just clean your hand," I said pointing to the kitchen. Lucky for me, my house looks like a normal house, just in case a human discovered it, which has never happened... yet.

I went to the bathroom and grabbed the bandages, then I saw a big flash and heard a loud BOOM!! I figured that is was just the thunder and lightning since it looked like it was gonna rain earlier. I walked into the kitchen and saw Izumi sitting on the floor covering his ears with his eyes shut. He looked like he was about to cry. I walked to him and sat in front of him.

"Izumi are you ok?" I asked him. He shook his head and then there was another flash and loud BOOM!! Izumi looked terrified.

"I'm terrified of thunder and lightning," he whispered scared and sad. I saw tears starting to fall out of his eyes. I put my hands on his shoulder and spoke to him.

"Izumi, you don't have to be scared. I'm right here and I won't let the thunder or lightning get to you," I said while wiping his tears away. He opened his eyes and uncovered his ears. I smiled at him and a faint smile appeared on his face.

Then for the third time there was a big flash and a loud BOOM!! Izumi got scared and he hugged me. I started to blush and I hugged him back to make him feel safe.

"Kuro I know I just met you, but can I stay here until it stops rain?" he asked me. His voice sounded a little shaky. It was actually kind of cute. I pulled away from the hug and smiled at him.

"Sure you can," I told him. He smiled and started to hug me again.

*Izumi's P.O.V (again)*

I don't care if I did just met him. I don't care if I don't even know him. I felt so safe in his arms. I have never felt this way before, about anyone.

*Time Skips*

My hand got bandaged up and it got dark and I was supposed to be back at my parents camp sight. I got a text from my mom that said

Mom: Izumi, where are you? It's getting late, you should have been back by now. Please text me as soon as possible, I'm worried.

I'm surprised that I actually get service up here in the woods. So I texted her back.

Me: While I was hiking I saw one of my friends from school and they told me they rented a cabin near the lake so I decided to stay with over night since it is raining. You don't have to worry. I'll be back in the morning. I promise.

After I texted her that she felt relived. There was no more thunder or lightning, it was just pouring rain. It was starting to get late and I started to feel tired.

"Hey Izumi you can sleep in my room and I'll sleep on the couch," Kuro told me.

"Are you sure?" I asked him, he nodded yes at me. I thanked him and headed to his room. I climbed into his bed and found it to be very comfortable. I thought how nice Kuro has been to me and thought of a way to repay him. After 30 minutes of think I finally fell asleep.
