It started with the usual, my classmates insults and Bakugo's unnecessary screaming.While the teacher was busy praising Bakugo and he's decision of going to UA high, I lowered my head hoping he wouldn't mention the fact that I too wanted to go to UA.Sadly he did and I was, once again, The joke of the day.
After School Bakugo and his gang of extras confronted me.I heard his arrogant voice saying,"Do you really think they would let someone as useless as you into a prestigious school such as UA?Do you really think you stand a chance?Give it a rest." He turned towards the door."You know if you want to be a hero that badly there might actually be another way. Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of a building."His words stabbed like a knife.But after all I was used to it by now.
During my walk home I was greeted with more bad luck.Some weird icky slime monster attempted to suffocate me to use as a vessel. My vision turned blurry, my heart beating out of my chest.I began to pass out.When all of a sudden I heard the voice of my soon to be savoir, All Might. "TEXAS SMAAASSHH!!"Those famous words where the last I heard before I blacked out. I woke up to All Might standing above me, slapping my face. (lmao🤣) Well, allot of thanking happened, that's for sure. Just as All Might was about to leave I kinda clung onto his leg as he "flew" away.And not in a weird way! I just really needed some answers. When he landed on a nearby rooftop I gathered my courage to ask him,"Can someone without a quirk ever become someone like you!?" Don't ask why I was screaming.
What I saw next was something my brain wasn't prepared for. You know the BUFF hero we all see on TV, the one with unstoppable power,Our symbol of peace and harmony?Well he was replaced by a short, bony excuse for a human being. I nearly passed out again.

He explained that he got seriously injured in a battle a few years ago, and ever since he wasn't able to do hero work for about 3 hours a day. After his explanation, he answered my question a little too honestly. "The world is a dangerous place,kiddo. Pro's are always having to risk their lives. Even those with powerful quirks, die protecting our country's. So no, I honestly don't think you can become a Hero without a quirk. C'mon kid, be realistic."
