Originally wrote this story as part of my mock English GCSE Language paper 1. Also this has been edited so it not written word for word exactly. This is much longer and goes into more detail than the original story.
Y/N's POV
I was peacefully napping until I was suddenly woke up to the sound of Daisy shouting at me to wake up.
"Y/N, wake up, you gotta get your lazy ass up, Coulson wants the team for a meeting"she said.
"I'm awake, I'm awake, I'll be there in a sec. Also I'm not lazy" I replied tiredly.
"I know, but I love annoying you" Daisy said.
"I'm fully aware of that" I told her.
After she left, I got out of bed then quickly changed into a suitable outfit since I was wearing my comfy PJ's. I put on a pair of jeans and a plain purple t-shirt. As fast as the wind I hurried to the team meeting. The meeting was held in the debriefing room.
"Glad you could join us agent Y/L/N" Coulson said as I was walking to the table.
"I was talking a nap until Daisy rudely interrupted my great dream by waking me up" I said annoyed.
"Not important. Now where was I.... Oh yes. Hydra has managed to steal a terrigen crystal from us and with it obviously being in the wrong hands, I want us to retrieve it" Coulson announced.
A terrigen crystal is a blue coloured crystal that was created by some aliens called the Kree, that when in contact with the crystal as a human activates a genetic mutation, causing the person to gain powers. This transformation is called terrigenesis. You need a certain gene to gain any powers from the crystal. These people are called inhumans. Anyone without the gene will die, since once you've touched the crystal you will turn to stone then shatter into a million pieces. Unless you have the gene, then you will be only covered in stone then the stone will crumble off of you. And then somehow you magically gain powers.
"Daisy I want you to get the crystal since you're inhuman and it won't affect you. May and Mack I want you to secure the area, and Y/N I want you to help Daisy just be careful we don't know if you might have the genes or not. I will be with Fitzsimmons monitoring you all" Coulson commanded.
"Why are you monitoring with Fitzsimmons? Shouldn't you be with us outside fighting Hydra?" Daisy asks in curiosity.
"Sometimes I need a break once in a while, I work really hard all the time" Coulson replies.
"You are the boss and most loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D, so makes sense" Jemma says.
"When are we going?" I ask.
"Be in the Zephyr in 15 minutes" Coulson said.
Everyone dispersed and went there separate ways to get ready for our mission. I went to my room to change into my tactical gear and then went to the weapons room to grab a gun just in case.
15 minutes had passed and everyone was inside the Zephyr. The ride took about an hour and a half at most. I spent nearly half the ride going over our plans and the other half reading some spicy fanfic about Daisy one of the Kaneings told me about. It was either Billy or Sam I don't know which one it was, all the Kaneings look the same. It was great. Daisy meets black widow and they fall in love. It has a lot of smut in it. I love black widow, she's my favourite Avenger. I wish I could meet her some day, but it probably won't happen, she on the run currently. Probably hiding from the government or something.
We soon Arrive at an abandoned looking factory where the crystal was supposed to be located. Me and Daisy put our coms in then stepped out the Zephyr with May and Mack in front. We sneaked into the factory to find it was a cover-up probably some sort of projection and it was actually a small base with a few offices and many labs and other rooms. Mack and May went and cleared the building by taking as many Hydra agents as they could. Daisy and I hid behind some filing cabinets whilst they did that. We listened carefully through coms to know when we could leave our hiding spot to retrieve the crystal.
