Stella walked into the apartment that later evening screaming at me. I was literally cleaning out the fridge because I was hungry and bored of watching . She should be thanking me. She snatched the second tub of Ben and Jerry I was eating. I sticked out my tongue at her and went into my room where I hid a personal mini fridge pulled out my mini Haagen-Daz peanut butter chocolate tub. I was then tapping on my laptop, finishing an assignment that was do at class tomorrow. Which was literally after my first day of interning at Archibald industry.
The cameras were gone. A group of men in blue jumpsuits knocked on my door, and said that 'Mr. Xantos' has sent them. I was on the verge to throw every expired food I have on them, but I kept a straight face and let them in. Before they left they said Mr. Xantos left a message, and I shut the door on them.
It's just nice to know that I can walk around in my pajama shorts and mint face mask without being stalked.
"Kenzie, you need to sleep. Tomorrow is a big day for you!" Stella cooed as she roamed on the frame of my door. She changed out of her work clothes and into boxer shorts and a decent pink tank.
"You heard my dad's voicemail?" I asked. She nodded and hopped onto my bed. She took my cream teddy bear and hugged it as she crossed her legs on my bed.
"I don't feel nervous. But I would like to know what I'm doing." I said as I scrunched my face. The brightness of my laptop was irritating me and no matter how many times I had to restart my damn laptop, the brightness wouldn't go down!
"I'm pretty sure it'll be organizing files and what not." Stella sighed as she started playing with my hair. I laughed and hit the button on the computer for my paper to print.
"Do you think hot stuff is awake?" Stella suddenly said.
"Hot stuff?" I questioned. She motioned her head towards my window - which was completely shut - and straight up gave her a 'no' head shake.
"Come on! Are you not at all curious?" Stella urged.
"Nope. Because freaking curiosity killed a bitch before." I replied.
"Oh, the sarcasm!" Stella faked a gasp as she tip toed by my window, avoiding my allegations, and she gasped - for real - as the sneaked a peek at my neighbor. She stood there for a few moments and I averted my gaze from my laptop screen to her, rolling my eyes.
"Hey, remember Garrett?" I snickered.
Stella glanced back and showed me her tongue in a childlike way. She then separated my curtains and pulled up my blinds.
"Stella!" I yelped.
"Chill, it's a groups of girls. Guess the hot shot model moved out." Stella said.
"What?" I quickly said. I shot right up from my spot and looked out to my neighboring building to see a group of three girls placing moving boxes into the apartment. This was insane! But on the back of my mind - the common sense one - said that maybe he finally figured out that if you're living alone, you don't need two homes. Pretty much a waste of money.
"Bummer, really wanted to see his perky butt." Stella sighed.
"Ew!" I cringed.

I smack my phone alarm when the disturbing 'BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!', sound alerted me out of a heavy slumber. I groaned into my pillow and got up about two minutes later. It was six in the morning and there was no sunlight outside. I opened my blindfold I had closed before heading to bed, and gazed upon the apartment that one used to hold a killer. I sighed and walked off into my bathroom.
