Jason
I hugged Eve goodbye, she was going on a school trip. After 10 minutes, I walked to school. I saw the girl that's friends with Avery walking to school. I went over to her. "Hey, is Avery walking with you?" "Hi, Jason. Yeah she is, I'm not sure when she's coming though. Sorry." She doesn't have to apologize, it's annoying when people apologize too much. This girl just annoys me too much. I already forgot her name too. "Luna! Jason!" We both looked at her. She hugged Luna, I think her name is, first, then me. She kissed me though, Luna can't compete with that. Avery and Luna started talking to each other, and I wasn't in their conversation. I didn't really care though. We saw a car slow down, then the windows rolled down. "Guys, get in." It was Hayden. "I call dibs on the passenger seat!" Avery yelled. Do I have to sit with Luna? Why is my girlfriend doing this to me? Wait, is she my girlfriend? Whatever. "Oh, sorry guys. I didn't realize you two have to sit with each other." "Avery, it's okay. I know you get carsick in the backseat." Does she know more about her than me? That isn't fair. At least I know Avery's biggest secret. We technically share it. We were about to get in the back seat when somebody yelled. "Hayden! Let me get in too!" We turned our backs and saw it was some guy I didn't know. But Luna's expression immediately changed. She didn't want to see whoever that was.
Luna
I have to sit in the backseat with Jason and Kai? This isn't fair. Jason is okay, but Kai... He was already on the right side of the backseat. And Jason was gesturing for me to get in. I have to sit in the middle? Now that isn't fair. I sighed and went inside the car. The car ride wasn't long though, only a few minutes. So I guess I could stay with them for a bit. Kai gave me a half-smile. Avery turned around and mouthed "I'm so sorry." Oh, she was going to pay for this. Jason pulled out his phone, which caused a lot of movement from me too because we were all squeezed together. He gave me his phone, and I saw he was asking me to put a number in. I pointed at Avery, and he shook his head, then he pointed at me. I was confused, but I did it. He messaged me on his phone and showed me it. "Why are you scared of that guy next to you?" He's asking about Kai. Oh. I took his phone and typed. "I'm not scared of him. He's my ex." I gave it back, and he lifted his eyebrows. "What?" I said quietly. He started typing on his phone, then he gave it to me. "Why does it matter? Don't you have like 10 ex-boyfriends?" I scoffed. "Excuse me? Kai's my only ex-boyfriend. Don't go around assuming things like that." I gave it back to him, and he read it and then turned it off. Unbelievable. Avery, Hayden, and Kai were laughing about something when suddenly we hit traffic. "Shit." Hayden muttered. Jason moved forward, which blocked my way, to look at what was happening. I pushed him back to his seat. He was about to say something to me, probably yelling when I started talking. "That's better that we're going to be late. I don't want to go to Mrs. Campbells." Hayden laughed. "I thought you were a good student, Luna." "Ave, Luna is not a good student. She's far from that." I immediately turned my head to Kai. And so did Jason. First of all, why is he calling Avery Ave? And why is he saying that I'm not a good student when he's terrible? "Don't say that." Jason said, giving Kai a death stare. "And don't call me a bad student." "So you two are dating now? I don't even know this blonde hair guy, but I see that you like guys with muscles." "What?" Jason and I yelled at the same time. "Kai, I am not dating him. He was saying don't call Avery Ave. And I was defending myself." "Luna, if you were to let me finish, I was going to say that you're a perfect student. Not just good." "Yeah right." Hayden laughed. "Bro, I was going to say that!" "Kai, I know you. You were not going to say that." Kai was about to start arguing with Hayden when Avery interrupted. "Kai, let it go." He looked at Avery, and put his hands up, gesturing that he was going to stay quiet.
Hayden
We've been stuck in traffic for a while now, and we also missed the only turn to school due to the mess of the traffic. "Hayden, look at this." Avery showed me a message on her phone. It said that school is canceled. "Guys, school is canceled." Kai was cheering, and I heard Luna let out a sigh of relief. "Let's go somewhere" "Kai, it's a lot of traffic." "And? We have all the time in the world." "He's right." Jason agreed. "Where do you guys want to go?" "Let's go to another state!" "Kai!" We all yelled. "Wait, what state are you thinking?" I said, looking at him in the mirror. He was grinning. "We should go to Massachusetts, let's visit Cape Cod!" "Kai, do you see how cold it is?" "So?" "Where would we stay?" "Rent a house! We can spend four days there, since today's Friday and we have a break on Monday. We all looked at each other. "Let's do it!" Avery said while looking at me. "What about clothes?" Luna said. "We can buy some there." "Toothbrush, toothpaste?" "Buy some there." "What abo-" "Luna, we can buy everything there." "Okay..." "Wait, guys. I might have a place to stay." We all looked at Kai.
