my soul just thinks your soul is pure magic
NYLAH LENORE
I was here for about 3 months and besides Deidre trying to take me out, things were pretty good.
"Nylah, you have a visitor" The guard said and I followed him to the call room.
I was greeted by my lawyer who had a very happy grin on her face.
"Hi! How are you?" I asked smiling at her.
"I'm very good sweetie but I should be asking you that"
"I've been doing good actually, my boyfriend dumped me when I first got locked up but I'm okay" I smiled.
"You're glowing girl, lemme find out you found you a lil boo thang in there" She sent a motherly glare.
"Something like that" I blushed.
She was like a mother I never had and I appreciated her for all that she was doing for me to be so truthful.
"We'll finish this conversation later" She pointed.
"But the real reason I'm here is because I have some wonderful news"
"Really? What is it?" I asked.
"I was able to find a lot of evidence that she hid to make you look like the bad guy and we found out that the judge was bribed to give you life. Soo they're giving you another trial and they'll be locked up for tampering with evidence. I also hear that you'll be getting money for being in here innocently" She smiled.
"3 more minutes ladies" The guard said.
We both cheered from our seats.
"We're going to get you out of here I promise" She said.
"This is the best news I've heard in a while. Thank you so much" I said excitedly.
"Ofc" She replied.
"Times up ladies" The guard said and we both stood up.
I hugged her tightly before the cuffs were put back on me.
We said our goodbyes and I was walked back to my cell.
We earned free time once again so I made my way to Razor.
I hadn't seen her all day actually and nobody knew where she was.
Today was her birthday too.
I checked her cell but her goons didn't allow me to enter.
"She in there?" They nodded.
"I can't go see her?"
"She isn't allowing visitors right now" She said.
