"Astoria wtf?" I asked.
"Mama wait-" She said struggling to put her clothes on.
"I don't wanna hear it! Get yo shit and get out" I said.
"Ma-"
"GET OUT!" I yelled.
The baby kicked very hard and I felt light headed.
I stumbled and Astoria quickly came to my aid.
"Mama-"
"Astoria please.. I don't want to argue. Get your stuff and leave" I said quietly.
The girl scrambled out of the room and she left right after her.
Cheating on me in my bed.. I honestly should've expected nothing less from her.
I changed the sheets and laid down to take a nap.
Getting mad at her wore me out.
FAST FORWARD...
"Well Ms. Lenore, the baby is growing healthily. You should try not to raise your blood pressure though because it's quite high and that's not good for the baby" I nodded.
"Thank you doctor" I smiled.
"Anytime, see you for the next appointment" He smiled at me.
Astoria sat silently eying the doctor.
I grabbed my things and left the room.
"Nylah?" I turned to Astoria.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm sorry.. I want to be there for you and our baby" She said.
"You mean just our baby cause I don't need you to be here for me" I replied.
"It was wrong mama I know.. but you were always working late and when you did get home you would go straight to sleep.. I felt lonely" She confessed.
I shrugged.
"It's over with now so you don't have to worry about me working late" I said turning back around.
I rubbed my stomach and waddled to the exit not saying anything else to her.

I felt my water break and the contractions were bad.
I was in no condition to drive myself to the hospital.
