Today is my 14 birthday. And I must say life couldn't get any better. I have my friend family. The only thing I don't have is a boyfriend. And to be honest I've had a crush on Jake since forever!!

Jakes point of view
I wake up feeling like I've forgot something. O crap today is Rosalie's birthday. I don't have anything for her so I ask my mom to take me to the mall. She says I'll be late for school. I can live with that.
We arrive at the mall and I have no clue what to get. My moms a girl so maybe I should ask her. "Mom, I want to get ro the perfect present ( ro is Rosalie's nick name) I just don't know what girls like" "hmm well we like clothes shoes makeup perfume." " OK I get it" I decide to get ro this really nice perfume, a candle, and I buy to tickets to see paper towns.
We rush to the school and my mom drops me off. "Have a good day Jake. Give to this to her for me" she hands me a gift card to the mall. I guess she wanted to get her something too.
I walk inside and see ro standing by her locker with her best friend Alyssa. I walk up and cover ros eyes. "Guess who" "someone awesome" says Alyssa. " okay hmmmm t swift" she guesses."nope" I say she guesses again" Theo James!!" " nope come on I think I'm better than Theo" i say hoping she'll say yes. " she finally says " o I know the one and only Jake parks" yes she got it right. I hand her the candle and perfume and say " to the best g..." oh gosh I almost said girlfriend luckily I stopped myself and said " to the best friend a person could ever ask for."
Ros POV
After I guess its Jake he hands me a candle and perfume. He says"to the best g" then he stops. Wait a minute did he almost say girlfriend. Oh gosh I hope he does . Ive had a crush on him forever. He starts talking and covers it up by saying" to the best friend a person could ask for" aww he's so sweet. I tell him I have to go to class so I walk off down the hallway.
Jakes POV
" oh my gosh" screams Alyssa after ro walked away. " what?" I ask " you to would be so cute together!" " is it that obvious I like her Lyss" lyss is what I call Alyssa. " yes totes" " okay I got tickets to paper towns here's one for you and Seth." Seth is my other best friend and also alyssas boyfriend. She screams with delight. Then we both head off to class.
