Chapter Three- Roommate?

"Just put your things there" I said bitterly to the speech impaired king slash my roommate. After hours of traveling we arrived na at our vacation. Mediterranean meets American styled and design ng house namin. Its a two-story house. Theres an infinite pool and a hot spring din. Yep, we personalized this house so that it would look and be like a resort.

"So? who will be my roommate?" I asked the boys while still sweating because of nervousness. But then I remembered "Just please let it not be Ken---no offense" I said.

The two laugh while Grey just looked bored. I rolled my eyes at them. Can't the understand that this is such a big matter.For me.

I gave them a death glare as I rolled my eyes at them. The two  raised their hands in defeat. "Im serious guys." I said

"Okay. Lets do this the old Filipino way." Ken said. And on cue, we looked at him to continue. "Hompiang." he said in a matter-of-factly way.

We didn't protest so the boys did it.

"Hompiang makulob ma hayang!" the boys yelled. I can't stop but laugh. Imagine this, three uber  goodlooking guys are playing this game. Plus the fact na pinagtitinginan sila.

At dahil dakilang weird at may sariling  pag-iisip si speech impared siya lang yung iba.

"WHAT?!?" The both of us screemed. Nagkatinginan kami then-

"HAHAHAHAHAHA YIIE "

We glared at them and I rolled my eyes.

"Guys, wala dapat malisya"  Zeke started.
"Unless may dapat kaming bigyan ng malisya" Ken said while tinaas baba ang kilay niya.

"Shut up both of you!" Grey yelled. "We should be serious about this. And please keep your dirty thoughts to yourselves."

Wow he yelled...the silent king yelled. Wow marunong din pala siyang ma-galit. His composed self is now gone. Shock is written in all our faces. Halatang bihira mangyari ang mga gan'to.

Gusto ko pang sagadin yung yelling nya so I whispered.

"So pikon." I said.

But yet again, I can't do anything about this. Kaya sumunod nalang ako. I also need to be fair and square.

But my problem here is ang bed. Where should he sleep?

We ate dinner na naman so now we're getting ready to go to bed. I lay down in bed ng napansin kong may katabi ako. Napa mental face palm agad ako. I forgot I had a roommate.

"Hey! sleep on the couch you dummy." I told him while pointing the couch. He looked at me in disbelief and was about to protest but I trailed him off "Sleep there or sleep outside." I said.

"Tss." he said, still laying in bed. Darn it!

I did everything sumigaw magwala pero di parin siya nagpa-tinag. Nag-please na nga ako eh with matching luhod pa yan ah..wala parin

"Come on. Please sige na..Palit tayo tomorrow. Bukas ako na naman sa couch." I said. And luckily, pumayag na siya. "Thanks Grey!"

"Tss."

I was about to sleep ng

*Bogsh*

Brownout. Sh*t malamig pa naman and the heater isn't working anymore kasi nga, brownout. Ang lamig pa naman and there's no heater. Shocks paulit-ulit yung description ko.

"Fvck!" I yelled. Ang lamig naman kasi..

I tried to sleep but I cant. Having Grey make shiver noises that filled the room. I checked at him at napa facepalm ako. Jam ang tanga mo..the couch is beside the window kaya pala siya nilalamig.

I closed my eyes and covered my ears trying to ignore him.

Makonsensya ka naman Jamaica

Shiz, I can't bare with this. And the fact na nilalakasan niya ang shiver sounds nya for me to hear ah?!?

I let out a sigh. I loose to my conscience. Di ko talaga makayanan. Jeez

"Ugh! Okay come here.." I whispered, but I knew he could hear me kasi dali-dali siyang lumapit.
Linagyan ko ng dalawang oversized pillows yung bed to separate us.

Gosh, he's wearing a grey three-fourths and some sweat pants. Gosh he looks like a model even if he's just wearing a simple gear. Pano kaya if rags and butas-butas ang isuot nito? would he still look just as handsome?

"Staring is rude you know.." he remarked.

I can feel my cheeks flush. I just stared at him. Knowing na umiinit na yung mga cheeks ko. Dubdub dubdub plus the fact na ang bilis ng beat ng puso ko.

"I-im n-not staring!" I yelled. Hopefully di nya mapansin ang pagstu-stutter ko. Jeez. Jamaica Sky De Valle keep you damn fvckin cool! I mentally slapped myself.  Humiga na agad ako and I refused to face him. Napansin ko din na the other side of the bed became heavier, humiga na siguro siya.

I was about to close my eyes and drift to dream land when---I lay frozen. Shocked sa nangyayari..
My heart skipped a beat. I can't move because of whats happening. Linagyan ko naman ng pillows to indicate our personal space eh! kinuha niya pala

he....he's hugging me.

"G-grey what the hell do you think you're doing?" I managed to say--still stuttering.

The weird thing is...I froze

di ako makagalaw..my heart is racing--yung parang hinahabol ng aso? I can feel weird things in my stomach. I know this feeling. I felt this once before eh, and ang ending? well lets just say it didn't end well. I shouldn't fall for Grey. Masasaktan lang ako, simply because I know I don't have a chance with him. I know my boundaries. I know my limits and I know where I should stand.

"Body heat." he replied casually.

His breathe is caught in my ears. Namula na naman ako and I'm sure of it. His breathe smells like mint. Gosh. This guy is perfect. Wala bang kapintas-pintas tong lalakeng to? HE can be a model eh. I'm sure he can hear my heart beat. My heart is really beating fast, parang gustong kumawala sa dibdib ko.

I tried to get away pero everytime na aakmang aalis at magtatangka akong kumiwalas is hinihigpitan pa niya ang hug niya. We're actually cuddling---without my consent.

"Waaaaaa bodyheat ka diyan. Pleaaaaase stooooop naaaaaaa. huhu--"

WTF! We covered my mouth using his hand! I tried so effin hard to get it off but hinigpitan niya lang. Shiz. My heart is beating so effin fast.

"Shut up noisy girl." he whispered, which caused chills on my spine. dubdub dubdub my heart is beating faster than before. Mas mabilis lang to kesa kanina. Good God, please stop these feelings. Tinakpan niya yung mga mata ko while he whispered, "try to sleep."

Yung pwesto namin ngayon is like couples kami. And I don't know what's with those three words but I did drift to dream land. I feel sleepy....sleepy and protected.
