The first thing Laiena learned was don't sleep near the opening of the mauri.

The sun hadn't even come out yet and people were beginning to train. She could hear everything and it was hard for her to sleep.

When she did fall asleep, Lo'ak was shaking her awake.
"Bro! Wake up!" He yelled as he shook her awake. Sun poured through the opening of the mauri into her eyes.

"Lo'ak I'm going to stab you if you don't get your hands off me!" She yelled sitting up.

He stood up and started running and she chased after him.
"Get you're ass back here Lo'ak!" She yelled.
"Hey! Watch it Laiena!" Jake yelled as they ran out.

She ran out of the mauri and chased him to the beach.

He ran past someone and right as she was running by he stepped back, causing them to collide.

When they both hit the ground she hit her head on the sand causing her ears to ring.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry!" The person said as he tried to sit up.

She looked over at him and noticed it was Ao'nung.

"No, it's fine, I'm sorry." She said trying to stand up but she felt dizzy. He stood up and helped her stand straight as she grabbed her head.

"Are you alright?" He asked. She looked at him and didn't realize how tall he was. She came up only to a little below his shoulders.

She looked from his chest up slowly to his eyes. His eyes were a gorgeous light blue color with little flecks of green.

"Hello? Are you okay?" He asked once again.
"Oh, right, uhm yes I'm fine." She said nervously as she noticed his hands on her shoulders.

They looked into each other eyes for a moment trying to read each others faces. He smiled at her and she smiled back.

"What's your name?" He asked not taking his hands off her shoulders.
"Laiena." She said nervously.
"No, what's your full name." He said as he let out a soft smile.
She hesitated for a moment. "Laiena te Suli Tsyeyk'itan."

He smiled at her again.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked feeling a little uncomfortable.
"I enjoy looking at beautiful things." He said as he moved a piece of hair out of her face.

She felt chills run down her spine from the feel of his touch.

"You think I'm beautiful?" Laiena said quietly.
"Very." Ao'nung said as he continued smiling.

"Laiena there you are!" Lo'ak yelled running over to them.

Laiena looked away, but she could feel Ao'nungs gaze on her still.

Lo'ak looked at Ao'nung and saw him looking at Laiena.

"Hey fish lips, get away from my sister." Lo'ak said walking towards them.

He looked at Lo'ak then back at Laiena. "He's your brother?"

Laiena nodded. "Twin brother actually."

Ao'nung nodded then looked at Lo'ak then back at Laiena. "I see it now, you're both very similar."

She smiled and Lo'ak smacked her arm.
"Sorry!" She said looking at him offended.

She looked back at Ao'nung and noticed his armband.

"I like your armband." She said nicely.
"Mine?" He asked looking at it.
"Mhm." Lo'ak looked at her confused.
"Oh, I like your scar." He said pointing to the scar across her stomach.
"Really?" She said surprised. "I used to cover it up because people thought since I was a girl I couldn't have scars, but, you know."
