At Emperor Belos' Secret Laboratory...

Belos looked to the shed scale as he was making a searcher spell.

Vee, that sweet little basilisk girl... where did she go?

"Emperor Belos, forgive me for my impertinence but we have a problem!" The scout reported, out of breath, "There has been an escape from the Basilisk Exhibit! Alabaster and Vee are missing!"

"Find Alabaster quickly, she is unstable and dangerous. Use whatever is necessary to find her. As for Vee, make certain they do not frighten her. She is a child." Belos ordered.

"Yes sir!"

The scout left to inform the others as Belos sighed.

Alabaster... he could understand why she ran off after what happened. But Vee, sweet girl, why would she bolt off like that?

Well, he better find them soon.

Fast.

...

Something drew close and smelled the air.

"Belos... No, an offspring... That blowhard has a child... Curse him. 'You cannot be integrated into the isles, your extinction's been so long that the species could no longer thrive. The Menagerie must be your only home, we cannot risk an invasive species." The voice scoffed, "He may have rescued us from them, but we owe him nothing! I owe him nothing."

Then the inspector appeared from the darkness.

"Let's see how he feels when I tear his brat apart."

A nurse was prepping for the princess's examination, unaware that someone was watching her.

"Excuse me, but what is medical equipment doing in the nurse's office? It cannot be authorized for school." The inspector demanded.

"Oh, you must be the inspector... welcome." The nurse hummed as if she was unaffected by her presence, making her angry.

"What is this doing in Hexside?" She questioned.

"I'll have you know; we have been ordered to have this brought in and prepared for... a special student. Higher-ups want to make sure it is up and running and the results are ASAP." The nurse answered as she had no time for any nonsense.

"And who would be that student?" She questioned as the nurse secretly got the scalpel.

"I don't think you have the authorization to ask such questions, Ma'am."

"Speaking of students... I'm looking for a... certain one."

"I'm sure you are... Basilisk!"

The nurse was quick as she stabbed the woman, but it was too late as all of her magic was sucked out of her!

"Hate to eat and run but I have a princess to devour." The inspector sneered and then left.

With all her strength, she made it to the crow phone and dialed the Emperor's Coven.

"The Basilisk... it's here...!"

...

Everyone was shocked as the armies were marching towards the school!

The emperor was leading the charge with Cheesecake as his faithful steed!
