Hi and welcome to a new book!
Down below are a few things I wanna mention before we get started.
- The book is in Louis' POV.
- It's not a slow burn.
- There's going to be smut.
- I've been struggling with one particular trigger warning, mainly because I've always been careful with not leaving trigger warnings out when they're needed, but I'm finding myself in a situation where I'd rather not hand out spoilers. I do want to mention that something traumatic has happened to Louis' sister, which is affecting Louis throughout the book, but I've made a decision not to mention what it is exactly. In case it's an issue to anyone, you're very welcome to not read along.
- There's on-page sexual assault in chapter 8—it's very, very brief and isn't going further than someone unbuttoning someone's pants without consent. I'm going to put a trigger warning at the beginning of the chapter to remind everyone.
