Soft footsteps could be heard echoing throughout a long hallway, bouncing on and off the walls before heading down mainstream, and in the direction of a very familiar door.

A single-tanned hand reached out and gripped the door's knob, a sigh escaping from this figure's nostrils as they pulled the door open.

Another figure stood in the room, flipping through a book that sat comfortably in their hands.

"(Y/n)," the tanned figure called out, causing the other to snap their head in the direction of where they heard their name being called out from.

(E/c) eyes stayed on the surprised guest for a few seconds, before their owner relaxed and closed the book.

"Cyno, is there something wrong?" The (E/c)-eyed male, (Y/n), asked while raising a brow.

Cyno closed the door behind him since he didn't want anyone coming into the room and disturbing both of them.

"I'm pretty sure you've heard what's been going on with the Akademiya?" Cyno questioned, getting straight to the point like usual.

(Y/n) turned to look at his brother fully, wondering why the other was asking if he knew what was going on.

"Yes, I do," (Y/n) answered, receiving a sound of relief from the other.

"Is there something going on, Cyno? You seem to be a little... rushed," the (E/c)-eyed male asked.

Cyno hummed lightly. "We need your help," he finally states.

Hearing this, caused (Y/n) to raise a questionable brow at this.

"Oh?" (Y/n) hummed as he brushed away the strands of (H/c) locks from his face.

Cyno shook his head as he made eye contact with his slightly older adopted brother.

"Lesser Lord Kusanali is currently trapped. And the Sages are creating a new god to lead Sumeru," Cyno explained.

"And where do I come in? You must have a plan if you know this much information so far," (Y/n) retorted.

The white-haired male hummed lowly. "We need you to be our eyes and ears on the inside," Cyno says.

"So, like a spy?" (Y/n) questioned.

Cyno nodded his head. "Yes," he answered.

A soft chuckle escaped (Y/n)'s lips. "You're doing quite the wonders," the (H/c)ette said in amusement.

Cyno gave a ghost of a smile to the other. "So, will you help us?" He asked.

"If it's to save Lesser Lord Kusanali from the clutches of the Sages and the Akademiya, then, of course," (Y/n) answered honestly.

Cyno gave a sound of approval. "I'll send in more information through the contact of letters. Make sure no one sees them."

(Y/n) dramatically placed a hand on his chest. "Oh, woe me."

Cyno felt a smirk crawl up on his lips as he felt a shiver of fear go up his spine.

(Y/n) sent a sly smile to his brother.

"Don't worry about me. Just do what you gotta do," (Y/n) said as he waved off the male.

Cyno nodded his head. "See you later," he retorted before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

Turning away with his back facing the door once more, (Y/n) flipped open the book he still had in his hands.

"Saving Lesser Lord Kusanali, huh? This is going to be such a thrill ride," (Y/n) chuckled as his (E/c) eyes shimmered with the strong emotions of danger and mischief.

A giant sound of a grandfather clock was heard throughout the room, causing the (H/c)ette to drift his eyes over to it.

"And there goes the grandfather clock. Such trivial times being placed upon us all," (Y/n) whispered as chuckles left his lips.
