“Take me to the moon” I told Angelo as we watched the full moon
We love watching the moon because of my name, Selene, the goddess of moon. Angelo said i am his own moon.
Angelo is my boyfriend, he’s the exact opposite of me. Famous, has a complete and happy family, living a life with no pressure. While here i am taking accountancy as my college course even though I’ve always wanted to be an architect.
He is my rest, my escape, my ball of sunshine, and when i am with Angelo i am resting.
“I can’t take you there, love” he said laughing.
It’s already 5 am when Angelo took me home. Angelo drove me to my house. I had to be quiet so that my parents won’t know what i am doing when they’re asleep. I had a good relationship with my parents, I know they’re strict and always busy but I know that we are fine, I am fine.
“Selene?!” My mom shouted “where have you been?” My mom was furious
“M-mom” i stuttered
“What is the meaning of this selene? What? You want to be a rebel now? I told you accountancy is is good for you and our company!” She said acting like she really knows what is really good for me. But i don’t have a choice, i never had. I slowly nodded and went to my room knowing that once again i am alone and a disappointment.
I never liked the life i am having. pressure, pain, and years of being alone at the same time. Good thing i have Angelo, he will always make sure that he is there to comfort me.
Angelo is an athlete while i am an honor student who devotes myself to academics. As I’ve said we live in a different world but for some reason we made our relationship work, he will always fight for me, for us.
Today is my 18th birthday, he decided to bring me to the basketball court where we first met.
Angelo:

Selene:

I was so excited, I know Angelo is up to something, he always have.
I’m currently wearing the outfit I wore when we first met and as i do my make up, i checked the time and when i opened my phone i saw three notifications that broke me into pieces.

This is Angelo’s sister. He got into an accident, he didn’t make it, Selene. He died at 4:00pm
I am now in my room, planning to kill myself, the window is wide open and i can definitely feel the cold air, i have a wonderful view of the moon, full moon, something Angelo and I loved.
As i hang my self, I watched the moon and the clouds around it move, As i hang my self i watched the night sky with an empty soul, a life with sorrow, and having a painful heart with tears in my eyes.
As i hang myself, the last words i said was “Take me to the moon, Angelo” hoping that Angelo’s soul could hear my wish.
On my eighteenth birthday i killed myself, I ended Selene’s chaotic life.
