The New Kid

Juliet felt instant guilt after Leo left the room, but she still had Hayley and Alex, so she went over to Hayley.

She saw Hayley at the cafeteria eating some salad, so she went to sit down next to her.

As she sat down, Hayley looked at her. "Hey, Ju, what's up?" Hayley was saying but was interrupted by Juliet yelling, "I messed up, Hayley!"

Hayley was shocked. She looked at Juliet with concern. "I messed up, I messed up, I messed up," Juliet sobbed into Hayley's shoulder.

"What happened?"  Hayley questioned, and Juliet sighed and gazed at Hayley. "I was being selfish about my reputation, and I got mad at Leo for going to Chicago, so we argued, and it was over between me and him." She responded

"Come here," Hayley said as she pulled her into a hug. Alex walked in. "Might I know the aspects?" Alex questioned, "Her and Leo got into an argument, and they've broken up."

"Oh my, Juliet, come here," Alex said as he hugged her. "It's going to be just fine," Hayley said.

Liana and Leo got to the Chicago airport after a long flight and went to order some coffee. "Hi, one french vanilla coffee and one pumpkin spice," they said. Liana said, "That will be two dollars."

Liana handed out two dollars and gave them to the cashier. After waiting, they received their coffees. "Okay, let's get to the hospital now," Leo said as they walked out of the airport.

They got to the hospital and went to their parents' room. They saw a girl talking to their mom; the girl turned around, and you can't believe who it was.

Juliet went to Louis' office. "Hey, Louis, I want to take a break and everything; is that cool with you?"

"Sure, Juliet, as long as you'd like." Louis said, and Juliet smiled, "Thank you so much, Louis."

After packing, Juliet walked all the way to her house. She knocked on the door of her dad's room to ask, "Juliet?" Asher (her dad) said as he hugged her, "Stacie! Amanda! Walter!" She's back!"

The three ran to the front door: "Juliet!" They said as they pulled her into a hug: "I missed my old friends," Juliet said as they went up to her room.

"So how has life been, girl?" Walter questioned, "Got a boyfriend, though we broke up last night?"

"What else?"  Amanda implied, "I got a job as a detective; I'm starting next week." Juliet answered.

Leo was shocked to see Aspen. "What are you doing here, Aspen?" Leo questioned, "Your mother called me; I'm so sorry for what happened." Aspen said, holding Leo's hands.

Leo was weirded out, but it's not like he's in a relationship anymore. Liana looked at Leo with a weirded-out face and shook her head, "Thanks, Aspen."

Leo and Liana went up to their father and sat down. "Hey, dad," Liana said with a grin, "Leonardo?" Juliana?"  Their father said in a weak tone, "Yes, it's us, dad," Liana said.

"I hope you're okay." Leo embraced him. "I'm fine"

Meanwhile, outside the hospital, Leo went outside to get some fresh air, and Aspen went to sit next to him.

"Hey, how are you with Juliet?" Aspen interrogated Leo: "We broke up." Leo said looking down. Aspen put her hand on his back and quickly put her hand down, saying, "I'm sorry."

"It's fine," Leo said. Aspen and him looked at each other. She glanced at his lips and slowly placed a kiss on them.

Leo pulled away, surprised, but he rapidly crashed his lips onto Aspen's again; their lips moved in sync.

As Juliet was having a conversation with her friends, she heard ringing from her phone. "Sorry you guys, I gotta take this," Juliet said before proceeding to go outside her room.

"Hey, Hayley, what's up?" She interrogated, "Um, how long will it take you to get here?" Hayley said, sounding like she was crying.

Juliet felt confused. "It's a fifteen-minute drive; what's happening?" Juliet questioned, "Alex, he's injured badly." Hayley cried out.

"I'll drive there as fast as I can," Juliet said as she took her car keys from her coat and rushed to the exit. "Hey, where are you going?" Stacie questioned, and Juliet turned her head to gaze at Stacie.

"It's important, sorry," she said before running outside. She stepped into her car, and she rushed to the greenhouse academy as fast as she could. It turns out she drove for only 5 minutes.

She went inside the campus to find Hayley; she found her, and then they rapidly went to the Eagles clubhouse. "Alex, what happened?" Juliet said as she saw a gash on his forehead.

"It's my fault," Daniel said. Juliet looked at him. "If only I hadn't thought of making a foul, he wouldn't have jumped in and taken the ball." Daniel added, and Juliet went up to him, saying, "Hey, no one here is to blame, okay?" Juliet said

"So, um, should we call the nurse?" Juliet said  "The nurse isn't available." Hayley informed, and Juliet shakes her foot and tightens her sweater. "Grab some thread and alcohol," Juliet says.

Hayley and Brooke handed her the stuff, and she dabbed the alcohol on the gash. As Juliet was sitting on the bench, her phone rang.

She picked up "Hey Amanda, what's up?" Juliet said, "Ju, where are you? We've been waiting for so long." Amanda said, Juliet sighed, "My friend, Alex, is injured, and I need to stay by him."

"Juliet, can't you spend time with us?" "I'm pretty sure there are other people staying with Alex," Walter added. "He's my friend; I just can't leave him."

"Fine," Stacie said. "Um, I'm going to be staying here for about a week; I hope that's okay." Juliet stated, "Oh yeah, that's fine, we gotta go, bye, I love you."

"I love you guys too," Juliet said as they hung up. A week later, Juliet got herself ready with her detective gear because she was about to start her new career.

She went out of the Eagles clubhouse and bumped into Hayley. "I'm ready for a new era of my life," Juliet said as Hayley glanced at her. Hayley smirked in proudness.

As they were walking through the hallway, Juliet saw Liana and Leo. "Go talk to him," Hayley said as she glanced at her. "Fine," Juliet said as she went down the stairs.

"Liana, Leo, are you guys back?" Juliet interrogated: "Yeah, but um, Ju, I'm going to have to put my bags in our rooms, so I'll leave you two now," Liana said as she left to go to the ravens.

"So how's life?" Juliet said "It's okay, how's detecting?" He questioned "I'm gonna start in twelve hours" Juliet said flexing her outfit

Leo giggled looking down "Hey Leo, sorry I went to go and grab some beverage" Aspen said placing a kiss at Leo's lips

Juliet's eyes widened and smiled weirdly, she just nodded to them and left swiftly.
