After school

"Im home!" i yelled into the quiet house.No answer.Throwing my backpack on the couch,i run into the kitchen to see a note on the table.

Ari,
I went to kats house to help with the babys room.Your dad went on a week business trip.Ill be home around 6 with food.

p.s,juice and chips in the blue bowl.you know where it is.

I look down at my phone,its 4:30.What shall i do for an hour and a half?I decide to turn on the television to see whats on.True life came on.Theres nothing better on i see flipping through the channels.

6:00

"Im home sweety!"i hear the door open.I run giving her a hug and almost knocking the pizza and bags out of her hands.We eat and watch a movie then i go upstairs to the attic.I love it dark so i choose it instead.I changed and went to sleep.

Morning
I awakened to hear pecking on my window.I get up to see a big black owl! I get up and open my window.It flew throughout my room dropping a piece of parchment on my bed then perched on my desk.I went over and read the envelope.

It had a red wax seal with an odd symbol that said Hogwarts on it.I opened it carefully so it didn't rip.

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings) Please note that all pupils' clothes should carry name tags

So many questions."Ill be right back!"i say to the owl.I run downstairs and see my mum cooking."Hey mum,"I say walking towards her putting a hand on her shoulder,"Whats this?" i hand her the letter.As she reads the letter her face goes blank from a smile."Well i have alot to explain."she says flipping an egg.I sit on the counter she begins to explain,"Well your real father and i are wizards,i didn't want you to know and be apart of it because after your father died it just was hard.So i moved here and married him.I thought if i stoped using magic they couldn't find you and you wouldn't have to be apart of it."

"Mom!This is the best thing ever!Why would you want to take all this away from me!?"I scream."Calm down sweety!I knew that you would get your letter soon because your birthday was yesterday."

"So am i going to Hogwarts?"i say exitedly."Ill have an answer for you later now eat i have a girl day planned!"she points to to the plate.
