To say that Hebi has been bored to the very depth of his core would be an extreme understatement, he knows he should feel grateful that at least he lives with someone who does not want to necessarily use him, but he can't help it!

He's been in here for months! Not bothering to go out. Well that is due to his own choice, he has no fate in himself nor bravery to go out on his own, even just to a park near Aizawa's apartment.

Sure, sometimes they will keep him company, him, his cat, and two of his goon-like friends, but.. they're heroes, they have a job and of course they wouldn't even think about bringing him along.

Not like he wants to.

Therefore, he is always bored, every single day.

But alas during those days, he have been getting around to understand the technology that is available in the place.

The television, the fridge, the tablets, the scary looking round vacuum cleaner that does not only scare Aizawa's cat, but also him himself, and of course the telephone.

But of course, seeing that he has been held captive for the majority of his life, and currently has the technology understanding capacity of a seventy year old grandpa, he never really used or learn how to use any of them, except the television.

This certain technology box has caught his eye the first time he saw it on, but he only seem to like a few programs, in which those include, ironically enough, wildlife docummentary, especially reptiles.

He just finds them fascinating, just from their skin, the way that their body moves, themself in general, he was entranced.

But, he did notice how he'd get a headache once he watched the television for too long, which comes to another discovery of 'books'

You'd think that as a teacher, Aizawa would have heaps of books everywhere, and just begging to be read, but no. There is literally not one page of paper, anywhere in any inch of the house, except the grocery list stuck to the refrigerator.

That's why Hebi didn't really had a chance to read at all. Don't get him wrong, apparently reading is one of the thing that they taught him in a facility, they cared enough to teach him how to read, but that's also just because...

Well, purposes unknown.

Also sometimes he didn't really had the ability to actually read long enough in the past even if he wanted to.

Living in a facility as such is expected to make anyone who lives in it prone to stress, a lot of stress, and his quirk evolves along his emotion so therefore.. he just turned any book there was into stone everytime they yelled at him to do something, which was unsurprisingly often.

Anyway, the first time Hebi even found the book was when Aizawa was getting comfortable and apparently was too lazy to get his wallet from his room and asked Hebi to get them for him.

Just know that for as long as Hebi was in this flat, he didn't even dare to go to Aizawa's room, something about overwelcoming his stay, but he was pretty shocked that the room alone has a bookshelf, filled with books though mostly school books.

Once he returned to give Aizawa his wallet he asked him for permission to read the books on the shelves, and honestsly seeing the hopeful glint in the teen's eyes, there's no way anyone would every refuse, so that's where his reading spree started.

And when Aizawa finally realized how the kid's a genius.

He absorbs any words that he reads, any information he gets, like an actual sponge. Aizawa originally thought that he would be lacking in that whole studying department.

Oh how he is wrong.

Imagine how shocked he was to see the green haired boy sitting in the middle of his room with books all around him forming some sort of fortress. Is it because of his experience back at the facility, or is it just his quirk, he didn't want to ask.

Not when a kid is actually gleaming to read a school textbook. A highschool textbook.

Heck at this point, he might as well enroll to UA.

"I think you should try to enroll him to UA." All Aizawa could do was blink his eyes, processing the words as fast as his brain could offer, but it seems that in the moment it works slower.

"Come again?"

Tsukauchi leaned back to the living room sofa, the hero comission or specifically Tsukauchi does a routine visit to check up on Hebi and Aizawa, more so because the kid is a potentially dangerous orphan that the government has gotten involved in.

That includes, giving some suggestions that Hebi has to follow.

The detective lifted of what seems to be papers of test works and essays, all done by Hebi with a raised eyebrow, though seeming obviously impressed.

"With an intelligence like this, he'd get in with no problems at all, you could even give him a recommendation so that he doesn't have to do the physical test."

Weirdly enough, Aizawa was actually considering it. "Do you think it would be wise to put him in school? He's even scared to get out of this apartmrnt on his own."

"That's actually the point." Tsukauchi smiled, "With this he'll be able to get used to a crowdy environment, and be able to control his emotions. Besides, it's a place filled with professional and capable heroes, nowhere is safer from him than there. Plus, the kid is a teenager Eraserhead, I think he would appreciate some friends."

The more he explained it to him, the more Aizawa seem to understand how it makes so much more sense now, he bets the kid also feels lonely most of the day anyway, so maybe this would be a terrific solution.

"I think you're right." He was responded with a raise of a brow, and a look saying 'I know I'm right' which makes him instantly rolls his eyes. "But I think his opinion also matters don't you think? Hebi."

No replies. "Hebi I know you're listening, it's alright you can come out."

He appeared from under the counter, peaking his head out first, showing his braided long green hair that now goes down to his waist, Aizawa offered to cut it for him, but he liked the style.

"Sorry." Hebi mumbled sheepishly. "It's just, you guys were loud and I was curious, and.."

Aizawa lifted a hand in dismissal "It's fine, back to the question in hand. Would you like to go to school?"

The question lingers in the air for a moment as Hebi considered the thought. He has heard about schools, read about them from the old worn out children books Yawaki used to slip in for him.

He was seriously considering it, I mean making friends, going to school in general, it all sounds like much fun for him but he can't exactly get rid of the fear that circulates his mind.

Then so he was silent, biting his lips with his head down, clenching the edge of the sink as he tried to find the best option.

He does want to go..

"We're not going to enroll you this year." His ears perked up again. "We're already halfway into the semester and UA doesn't typically accept transfers, so you have an entire year to prepare yourself, if you want to of course."

That.. sounded much more plausible. In Hebi's head. "Ok.."

"Ok?"

"I want to go to UA."
