"Mary this! Mary that! I am sick of it! I am sick of being her lady! We were friends once, you know. Now, she treats me as if I am just one of her servants. I've always been a little, oh fine, a lot jealous of her. She doesn't deserve her crown. For crying out, she was crowned queen at a week old all because of her father King James V's death. When she fled to France for protection at 5 years old, I was still there for her, I went with her to be by her side, I protected her from threats and poison and this is how she repays my friendship and loyalty. Oh speaking of not deserving the crown, that Francis! His bastard brother probably deserves the crown far more than he does. Francis, ha! He still looks like a child, now a marriage! A secret agreement for Mary to wed Francis so she can be protected by the French Court. How outrageous! Tell me, Sebastian. Is it dangerous to act like her friend yet despise her so much? She is the queen of Scots so that makes her my queen, I already know that. However, that doesn't mean I have to truly admire her like one-". Lola was interrupted.
"Stop, stop this nonsense at once! This is mad! You sound like you are confessing to me of your plans to hurt your queen. I know this is out of place for me, but are you planning to murder your own queen?!" finished Sebastian leaving Lady Lola surprised.
"How rude! I would never commit such sin, I am catholic by heart. Any who, I am just going to secretly destroy her slowly because there are far worse faith than death." Lola explained.
"Lady Lola, if you must understand, if you sabotage your own Queen, Scotland could be in great danger. Your people back home will never forgive you. Queen Mary agreed to wed Francis to protect Scotland because rulers of England are after her. She is the next royal in line to take the crown of England as the great-granddaughter of England's Henry VII since his daughter, Mary the first has become ill. Mary of Scots made this sacrifice and agreeing to be her lady and her friend is the sacrifice you made. SO you must accept it and do whatever it takes to be by her side and keep your queen safe as your duty to your country." he explained clearly.
"Oh fine, and France is only protecting us because if England captures Scotland then they can easily capture France. Furthermore, I will give up on seeking revenge on Mary." Lola promised.
"I just hope you're being honest with me, after all, I am your "doctor". I don't know how long we can keep this up, these secret meetings, if you are truly ill, you should see a professional, not a friend who is studying medicine. I feel as if these mental complications are getting worse day by day" Sebastian suggested. Then he stopped writing in his journal, stood up as Lady Lola watched him slowly leave her room.
She trusted him, she really did, perhaps a little too much. As soon as Sebastian left her room, he knew she was insane and she always had murderous thoughts but never was brave enough to admit it.
