April 24th of 1558

All the people of Paris were adrenalized by the special occasion. Today was the day Dauphin Francis was to wed Mary, the Queen of Scots. Today she was going to become the consort queen of France. Everybody in France and Scotland had smiles on their face, except England and Lady Lola. She was approaching Queen Mary's room with her head held high. She knocked gently and with permission let herself in.

"Oh my, your highness! You look absolutely stunning!" Lola claimed.

"Lola, do you really think so? I can't believe it. Today is the day I am getting married. I've been engaged ever since I could walk. I suppose I am lucky, Francis and I are childhood friends and have grew quite fond of each other." Mary replied.

"Yes, Mary, you are quite lucky." Lola finished secretly wishing it was her that was wrapped in the long, beautiful, silk white dress, with the heavy necklace made from pure diamonds hanging from her neck and the golden crown that was surrounded with jewels sitting on her head gently. She desired everything Mary had.

The ceremony was held at the famous Palais de Justice and the 17 year old Mary and 15 year old Francis filled the night with dancing, laughter, and joy.
