"M/R?"
"Yes?"
"Are you ok?"
.........
M/R walked into class today. At first, everything was fine until I noticed a couple of odd behaviors. He was panting every so often. Sometimes, he shook, and when I talked about his mother, Ms.M, he couldn't look me in the eye, werid. I decided to ask him about it.
"I'm fine." He said, rubbing his neck.
"No, you're not something is wrong."
"Y-you wouldn't understand."
"Try me..."

M/R turned his hands into fists. He started to pant again. Recent events got him on edge. He didn't know how to feel about it. His 'mother' said she was just trying to keep him safe.
'Did she really have to go this far?'
Now, he was literally connected to Megan. Sometimes, he could hear her. Currently, he could hear her hummin.
'She's listening in on our conversation. Should I choose my words carefully.' I mentally ask myself. I feel a brush, a small spark against my mind. 'She can't read my thoughts, right?'

"Really, it's nothing, Y/n."
Y/n puts her hand on my shoulder.
"Is it really nothing?" She said, giving me a look.
"It's just... can I ask you a question?"
Another small spark goes through my mind, I pant but continue.
"Sure, I'm all ears."

"M/R," a robotic voice called in his head.
He held his head.

"M/R? Are you alright?" Y/n said. She was now standing up.

"M/R shhh quiet child." a robotic voice commanded. He knew it had to be Megan his 'mother'. He started to hyperventilate.

"M/R? M/R?!?! What's going on!"

'Leave me alone,' He thought.

"I can not do that." The robotic voice said, another small spark went through him. Great, she can read his mind. "Go to the nurse office. If you can not attend school today, then I will come and pick you up."

M/R got up and asked the teacher to go to the nurses office. Y/n asked to go with him, but M/R said he would be fine on his own. After M/R left. Y/n couldn't help but feel something terrible has happened to her best friend. She was going to get to the bottom of this.
