[So I changed the story just a bit, Cady is your mom who works long hours, and your father is neglectful.]

You got home setting down your bag. You then grabbed something to eat. You went upstairs, ignoring the sounds that came from your dad's room. Your mother wasn't home. You were smart. You knew what he was doing. While your mother slaved away at a job. He could sit home and do whatever he wanted. You look at your room. You kept everything neat and clean. Otherwise, you'll either hear screaming and yelling from your father. You just wanted peace, something else you couldn't gain in this household. When your mother came home, he acted like an angel. Like he could do no wrong. It made you sick. You were so upset. How could you possibly come from a man like him. Greedy, selfish, and entitled bastard that can't even clean his own clothes.
