Background info:
Ella's parents were Death Eaters. They joined Voldemort during the WWII (Wizarding War II) and qiuckly grew to be some of his most trusted followers. After his downfall, they donated a large sum of money towards rebuilding Hogwarts, the Ministry and those who had been injured and killed by the Death Eaters.
They were cleared of all charges and moved to Australia, where they married and her mother Elanora Lestrange (Daughter of Rabastan) became Bond. There they own a country mansion, but they still wished for Ella to go to Hogwarts, the school they both went to, so she does (obviously).
She was raised not to hold a bias against muggleborns, but to still hold company with pure/halfbloods. She's related to the Selwyns and the Notts (how she knows Allen) but the Shade's Shadows hate her because her parents didn't try and find a way to bring Voldemort back.
