I looked over, the dark corner now illuminated in my view, a labyrinth of other caves, twisting and turning in different directions, zigzagged like spoon bent out of shape. "What the fuck..." I said, "what is it?" Zenny said looking at the direction my eyes gazed towards, "whoa, neat!" He said, I quickly responded back, "no! It's not neat! We need to go back!" I scampered away, attempting to exit the cave. A sudden force pushed one of the sculptures around the door in front of my way, I flinched, falling on the ground. "Ollie!" Zenny shouted to me. "Are you okay?" He asked me, "yeah I'm good..." I said back to him getting back on my feet.
"H..how are we gonna get out of here..." Zenny said, afraid. "We can push the sculpture!" I responded. "They are too heavy! Trust me, I tried pushing them before you came down!" Zenny said shivering. "Maybe the other caves have an exit..." I said, attempting to build up confidence in him, "we can't! It's a maze!" He whispered, scared again. "Well if we stay here we'll starve so which one do you wanna do? Die, or die trying?" I said, "come on." I said, grabbing his hand and leading him to the entrance to the maze of caves.
As we walked through the twist and turns I stumbled on a thing I assumed must have been a rock, but suddenly I hear a creak as I lower my foot, I pause, then I crouch down and start pressing against the dirt floor. "What are you doing?" Zenny asked, I push against the floor as hard as I can and suddenly the floor starts lowering as if it were an elevator, "what the fuck..." Zenny says shocked, "there was a compartment, it had a button underneath, when I pushed it must have pressed against the button..." I say, and after a few seconds we're in a place even weirder than the one before.
A wide hallway, with old decorations that seem to be hundreds or maybe thousands of years old. The hallway seemed to stretch and fade away into the pitch black darkness ahead, I hear a bang and I scream almost jumping on top of Zenny. "Ollie..." Zenny whispers, seemingly frozen in fear, I look ahead and see a creature, maybe 9 or 10 feet tall, crawling on four legs, it's body proportions were...unsettling and unnatural, and it was seemingly blind, with no eyes and only a dark, dripping red face, as if it had murdered somebody...I covered Zenny's mouth, because I could tell he was about to scream, I walk back with my hand still over his mouth. I put my finger over my mouth, giving him a sign not to make any noise at all, he whimpers quietly, his eyes wide as if he were telling me, "we're gonna die down here..." I would be happy that in only a few hours it would be over.
