𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚛 𝙵𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚊𝚕 𝙿𝚝.𝟸

All the captains stood in line, presenting themselves to the public. Everyone in the crowd stared at Mereoleona.

"Isn't that the new Captain of the crimson lion kings?!"

"I heard the crimson lion kings got a new captain and vice captain.."

"I wonder who the new vice captain is!"

As the large crowd shouted wildly, Julius looked at his daughter, who, was hiding her self in the crowd. She got notified last minute that she had to make a goddamn inspirational speech to the kingdom. She now was hiding from both her father and Mereoleona.

Julius motioned for his daughter to step up on the stage. The girl shook her head with her eyes widening slightly. All of the captains noticed and turned their direction towards the father-daughter duo.

"You need to come up here, dear." Julius whisper to his words to his daughter

Lucrezia shook her head once again, "Definitely not." Mereoleona took notice and had an eerie mana surrounding her.

"Lucrezia. Get your ass over here. Now." Mereoleona said, pointing at the ground beneath her feet

She was about to shake her head, when her formal vice captain pushed her gently, with an encouraging look on his face. "Lucrezia, you must do it eventually. There is no way out of this." He said smiling at the girl

"But-I-what- ughhhh... why is everything such a pain in the a-!"

"Off you go now!" He pushed her with more force. They were close by to the stairs she had to walk up in order for her to go up on stage. So, Julius and the captains can hear everything as they watched the two.

The girl walked up the stairs, only 1/3 of the way up the stage. She looked back at him, pleading in her eyes to save her in this situation.

"Seriously? You won't help OR stop me?"

"Why would I do that?" Randall said, still laughing gently at the girl

The girl immediately responded fast "Uhhhh because??" She said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I am showing you my willingness to-" she stared at him for a few seconds, hoping he would help. He shook his head.

"No?!" Lucrezia looked around, as if her mind is going crazy, she raised her hands up, then slapping them back down to her side

Randall shook his head again. Lucrezia groaned a bit loudly in annoyance.

Lucrezia rolled her eyes, she put her hands in a praying gesture, closing her eyes. "God, if I end up having to punch someone stupid in the face.... It'snotmyfault, Amen!"

Julius, Randall, and Mereoleona chuckled, Jack, and Rill laughed out loud. William laughed softly at the girls funny antics, and Nozel and the new captain of the purple orcas remained silent, looking at the girl.

"Eh? Why is the wizard king and the captains looking that way?"

"Isn't the new vice captain of the crimson lion kings representing too? Why isn't he up on stage yet?"

"Hah! They really are assuming you for a man, Zia." Mereoleona said, finding it almost amusingly stupid that a man said those words to the black haired beauty

"Wait, is she...?"

"She's the crimson lion kings vice captain?!"

"Is she even capable?"

"That girl has a pretty face, but don't you think a girl like her isn't befitting for such a manly role?"

As the crowd criticized the girl, she remained unfazed. She really couldn't give two shits if they doubt her or not. Unlike them, she's the one standing up there, not them.
