My eyes widen as I quickly went to grab my phone, eyes glued on the text messages. I read it over and over again, basically memorizing the words he wrote to me.

It was only 8 and most people were still up, having dinner or watching a movie but me. Picking up my phone, I didn't know what to text back.

Maybe I should text back in the morning

I tried to think of another solution but I couldn't, making the decision to text Spencer in the morning before work.

Plus I've always been a early bird.

I shake off my nerves and went to bed, overthinking about tomorrow and what it will bring.

My eyes stretched open as I heard the blaring alarm in my ear, waking me up from the weekend.

I sat up and shut my alarm off, licking my dry lips. My head ached and I rubbed my eyes. I quickly got up and went for some water to wash my thoughts and get rid of my headache.

It worked and I walked back to my room, starting to get ready.

It was 6 and I had to open a 8:45. Of course the first thing I do is take my morning shower, followed by a good breakfast and then doing my hair. My regular makeup was put on and I was about to change when I remembered my phone existed.

My eyes widened and I quickly ran around my apartment to find it. I found it on my desk in my bedroom.

I grabbed it and looked at the message.

What should i say?

I thought of the perfect thing and wrote out the sentence,

Hey Spencer! I remembered you from Barnes & Noble's :)

I sent it out before I could second guess myself. Changing into a baggy shirt and leggings, I was out the door and heading to the front of my apartment building.

My small car was parked in it's usual spot. I got in and drove off downtown where my shop was.

I tried to ignore my phone as the urge to try and see if Spencer was replying was driving me insane. But I held myself back because I was driving.

Eventually I got to my destination and I parked, walking up to the store and opening.

Walking in, the smell of pets filled my nostrils.

Heading to the back, I started to get all the animals to wake up and get them their breakfast as well.

Spencer's pov:

I arrived at hq as my phone was glued onto my hand. My eyes never leaving my messages.

Yes, I gave her my number. But I couldn't help myself in memorizing the ten digits and texting her myself.

I feared that I wouldn't get my chance if I didn't take it first.

I was in the elevator to the sixth floor, eyes still on my phone. The doors opened and I subconsciously walked out, not looking up.

But I didn't have to when my nose and chest hit the glass doors of the Bau.

I blinked as I quickly looked around, making sure no one saw I opening the door, walking to my desk.

Taking a deep breath, I relaxed as this was going to be a paper work day.

"Pretty boy~"

I looked up from the sound of Derek's voice, him saying pretty boy in a sing song voice.
