Wilbur POV
I sighed. I absolutely hate shopping. I would much rather be in bed scrolling through reddit with Alex than be at a store.
Alex also hates shopping but he was desperate for something sweet and I don't usually have anything sweet at my house so now I'm here. Shopping for all of his favorite candies.
He decided to stay home which makes things worse. I really didn't feel like ever coming back here so I just grabbed a ton of candy and paid for it. It cost a lot and even if it isn't really worth it, Alex will be happy and I don't have to come back here for candy.
I grabbed all the bags of candies and put them in the car. I wanted to go home fast so I rushed into the car and started it up. Once it was ready I left the parking lot and drove back home.
The house was only 5 minutes away so it didn't take long to arrive. I grabbed the bags of candies and went to the front door. I unlocked it and stepped inside. I put down all the bags and took off my shoes.
"Alex! I got your candy!" I yelled out.
He came out from the kitchen and his jaw dropped when he saw the amount of candy I got.
"I hate shopping." I said.
He smiled. "I don't need this much sugar. This would probably take me 2 years to finish."
"It's fine. At least I don't have to go to the store to get candy anymore." I said.
Alex cupped my face and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. He grabbed two boxes of candy and went into the living room.
I followed him and sat next to him on the sofa. He leaned toward me and hugged me.
"Thank you for the candy." He said.
"You're welcome."
