Ryan, who had at some point during the night woken up and rolled onto his side only to meet Dylan who was still sitting on the floor, "JESUS CHRIST, DYLAN!" Ryan shouted, raising his hand to his chest. Dylan, who was paying no attention to Ryan, only the pen he had found on the floor to spin in between his fingers, jumped at the sound of Ryan's voice booming through the room. "R-RYAN!" he shouted, "I-I didn't mean to be creepy or anything! I-" he sighs, "I just didn't wanna be too loud and not let you sleep so I just followed you in here.." Dylan finished, looking down at the pen in his hands to fiddle with it. Ryan felt bad for yelling but Dylan had scared the shit outta him, "I'm sorry for yelling, Dyl. You just scared the shit out of me." Ryan said, moving his hands to rub his eyes. Ryan then moved his hand outwards as if to signal Dylan to come grab ahold of his hand.

Dylan, complied and shuffled over to the bed to grab a hold of Ryan's hand. Dylan sat on his knees beside Ryan's bed, holding Ryan's one hand in both of his, "I'm sorry if I woke you up, Ry.." Dylan said, looking down at their hands, afraid he had disappointed Ryan. Ryan shifted in the bed slightly and pulled his other hand that Dylan didn't have, from the covers to cup the side of Dylan's jaw in his hand. Ryan smiled when Dylan leaned the side of his face more into Ryan's hand, "Come lay with me, Dyl." Ryan spoke quietly, he was a little embarrassed asking a question like that and clearly it flustered Dylan just as much as him. "U-uh, yeah, yeah sure. I can come lay with-" He trailed off for a moment "With you.." He finished with a shaky breath. Dylan let go of Ryan's hand and walked around to the other side of the bed, crawling into it. Dylan plopped down beside Ryan, "So.." Dylan spoke awkwardly and cleared his throat. Dylan brought his hands to his own chest and fiddled with his fingers, Dylan was laying next to Ryan, so close together. "If, uh.." Dylan spoke, still in awe that he's next to his crush, "If you haven't noticed, ghosts can't sleep." He finished. " Ryan was slightly shocked, ghosts don't sleep?? Well, maybe that isn't as weird as Ryan is making it out to be, just because Ryan's a human it seems so strange that someone who once was alive can't sleep.

Ryan still didn't understand even a half of what was happening, Ryan tried to take it back a few steps to try and REALLY wrap his head around this situation. Dylan can touch things, eat things and is just existing in this world in general. Before he could even try and think about what was going on he was snapped back into reality by Dylan's hand that had just been placed upon his cheek, Ryan could feel the same weird energy he felt when hugging Dylan in the kitchen, the feeling was strange but in a way, Ryan enjoyed it. The only way Ryan could explain the feeling was somewhere along the lines of electrifying. Ryan then brought his hand to Dylan's that was placed softly on his cheek. Dylan smiled at him, a soft, happy smile, one that Ryan could never get enough of.

Finally, Dylan spoke up "Kinda sucks I can't sleep anymore, I loved doing that" He finished with a laugh, which in turn, made Ryan laugh too. Ryan knew how much Dylan loved to sleep, he remembers all the times at camp he walked past Dylan's cabin with Kaitlyn standing outside the door, banging on it trying to wake him up. Sometimes Ryan would stand and watch just hear Dylan's husky morning voice, one of the very few fond memory's of Hackett's Quarry.

"GET UP YOU DOOFUS, YOU'RE LATE FOR ANNOUNCMENTS!" Kaitlyn shouted while banging on the door, trying to wake the sleepy boy. "Mmm.." Dylan mumbled "5 more minutesss" He whined, hoping Kaitlyn would find it somewhere in her heart to let him stay in bed just a little while longer. News flash, she didn't. Kaitlyn would get Mr. H to give her a spare key to Dylan's cabin to dump cold water on him and wake him up, "RISE AND SHINE" Kaitlyn would yell before dumping the water onto Dylan. "AHHH! COLD!" He said hopping out of the bed, "CMON KAIT I JUST WASHED MY SHEETS!" He would say before he and Kaitlyn both would burst out laughing. Ryan liked to stop and watch to laugh with them, those small memories mean everything to him.

For some reason, Ryan started to feel worried, worried about losing Dylan after he had just gotten him back and for some reason, Ryan couldn't hold his tears. "Dylan.. I'm afraid.." He said, clutching Dylan's hand more in his own. Dylan's eyes widened at the sudden change in Ryan's mood, Dylan was worried he had overwhelmed him.  "Ryan-! R-Ryan why are you crying?!" Dylan spoke urgently,  removing his hand from Ryan's face and sliding closer and wrapping his arms around Ryan, pulling him into his chest. Ryan's arms wrapped urgently around Dylan, burying his face into Dylan's chest. Ryan felt like if he let go of Dylan, that he'd be gone forever, he was scared, terrified even. Ryan had lost him once, he didn't want to lose him again, but at the same time Ryan knows he can't stay, "I don't- I don't want you to go, Dylan.." Ryan was sobbing into Dylan's chest and honestly, Ryan wasn't sure what made his mind rack that thought, he was laying in bed with Dylan, Ryan was so happy but the though of losing Dylan again keeps coming back, haunting him.

"Hey, hey.. I'm here, you're okay." Dylan spoke slow, moving his hand up and down Ryan's back, trying to soothe the sobbing mess next to him. Ryan slowly opened up, talking about his fears and worries, giving Dylan his heart, something Ryan's never trusted anyone else with. Ryan had always kept to himself and never really had anyone like Dylan, who was there for him. Ryan's tears just kept flowing down his face, all while Dylan just kept softly whispering 'It's okay' 'I'm here' 'I've got you', Ryan had never felt so safe in someone's arms. After a few more minutes of tears and Dylan's warm words, Ryan had calmed down, "I'm sorry.." Ryan said, reluctantly removing his hand from Dylan's back to wipe his tears. "Everything's okay, Ryan. I'm here." Dylan spoke, looking down to give Ryan a small, sweet smile. Ryan only just realized how tired he was, it more than likely didn't help he'd just been crying. it was probably almost 3 in the morning or at least somewhere close to that by now. "Better get some sleep, Ry." Dylan said as Ryan snuggled back into Dylan. "Mhm" Ryan mumbled into Dylan's chest , he was far too tired to give a proper response. Dylan gave a small laugh at Ryan's response and pulled him in closer, "Goodnight, Ry." Dylan said soft, resting his chin on top of Ryan's head, slowly listening to Ryan drift asleep in his arm's.
