Falling

You're falling out of the sky.

You look below you

There are trees, snow, and a small house in the distance. That was unimportant, though; you're about 2,000 feet in the air. There's no way you'll survive the fall, so what point is there in hoping? All you want is to know how you even got here. Maybe this is all a dream? You might wake up from this horrible nightmare once you hit the ground. As you get closer to your death, you hear shouting and the sounds of fighting. "Phil, watch out!!!!" the voice sounded panicked; the words were followed by laughter from a second voice. Who were these people? You barely had time to think of it before hurling into the snow below you. You were dead, for sure. You felt your life flash before your eyes, but then you looked up to see the moon and the trees you once fell from above.

"Are they dead?"

"Maybe the child broke their fall"

"Yoooooo"

Two men stand above you. A look of concern and confusion spread across their faces.

"Well, at least it's dead now-" the man said as he looked closer; the male stood tall, draped in a green cloak and large black wings upon his back.

IT'S DEAD??? WHAT DOES HE MEAN ITS DEAD??

Your eyes widen at the thought that you just killed a child.

"True, However- it's dead because a whole person fell out of the sky." the second man spoke; he wore a crown and what looked like a monarchist's ensemble. You groan in pain; you're cold and sore from the impact and the snow in your clothes. "What should we do?"

The winged man spoke with his friend for a little as you began to come to your senses and realize this couldn't be a dream since you were cold, wet, and in pain from the fall. Your eyes start to focus again as your surroundings become less blurry.

"Where- where the hell am I?" you ask the two strangers. "IT SPEAKS!!" the royal-looking man says. "They're going to freeze to death out here. Techno, we need to get them inside." the feathered man says to the other as he picks you up and begins walking toward the light of what you can only assume is their house. "Alright, fine. But if they're working for the government it's on you." These are the last words you hear before letting sleep finally take you.
