Ruhan finished the song with a final strum of his guitar and smiled.
And Vamika was hundred per cent sure, that the butterflies in her stomach no longer existed.
Cause she could feel elephants running inside of her.

Vamika sat silently, gaping at Ruhan and his stupidly cute smiling face, until she heard the applause resonate around the room.
She looked left and right and realised that she was supposed to clap too as she jumped up from her seat and started clapping loudly.
"He's so good Sam", Vamika whisper yelled to Samaira, her cheeks tinted bright pink.
"I know Vami, I know."
Ruhan kept his guitar on the chair and winked at Ziva. Ziva looked at Vamika laughing and clapping in joy and sent an approved smile his way.
As soon as Ziva had exited Vamika's room earlier that day, she was met with a guilt-ridden Ruhan.
"She is new here, Di and because of me, she has to hear all this. I've made her prone to all these Di and I don't know how to fix this."
"You can't Ru", said Ziva softly, ruffling his hair. "The field we've chosen, and the parents we have, we are bound to hear negative comments. Being famous has its cons and you know that. You can't do anything about it and the best way to tackle it is to ignore it. All this is new to Vami and don't worry, once she starts playing, all these people will be the ones singing her praises. You should've seen her in the practice sessions, that girl, her body language, her style of shots all remind me of Virat Cha-"
Ziva halted her words and shook her head.
Ruhan quickly sensing the tension that hung said, "I'm planning to sing a song for her and I hope that she likes it."
"Tu genuine kuch bhi karega toh she'll like it, ab jaa."
Ziva looked back at Vamika in the room and said quietly, her throat choking with tears, "We miss you Virat Chachu, and I don't know why but she's somehow highlighting this feeling even more."

As soon as Vamika entered her room, she collapsed on the bed and looked at the ceiling with a big smile etched on her face.
Her phone began to ring she answered the call without even noticing who it was.
"Hello?"
Vamika did not answer, still gazing at the ceiling. The person on the other side chuckled and asked her, "What did Ruhan do?"
Vamika sat up straight and answered, "How the fuck do you know Dad?"
"Language miss, language", reprimanded Virat before sniggering again and saying, "Switch to video call Vami."
Vami did as she was told and Virat snickered seeing that her face looked exactly how he had imagined it to be, the goofiest of all smiles carved on her face.
"Because Miss Vamika Sharma, I've been enduring your crush on Ruhan for the past five years, so I know, this creepy look you have on your face can be because of just one guy. Now tell me what happened? I need gossip."
Vamika rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue at Virat. "Very funny."
Her face soon constricted into a wide beam as she said, "Okay first things first, he asked me out on coffee."
