"Shut up!" Tara yelled as she walked into her room, slamming the door.

"What did she do this time?" Amber asks, sitting on the windowsill.

Tara turned around so fast, almost giving herself whiplash.

"Oh my god, Amber, I didn't know you were there." Tara sighed, slowly sliding down her door and sitting on the floor. Wiping the tears slipping from her eyes.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Amber chuckled, giving Tara a slight smile.

"Wait, how did you get in?" Tara questioned, looking up at Amber.

"The window, I realised I haven't climbed through it today yet." The taller girl smirked, slowly walking towards Tara.

"Great, now that it's out of your system, can you use the door?" Tara chuckled, sniffling and slightly smiling while a tear dropped from her cheek.

"Was it Sam?" Amber asked, sitting down next to the huddled up girl.

"Mmh." Tara mumbled as she laid her head in the crook of Ambers neck.

"What happened?" Amber softly asked, wrapping one arm around Tara and kissing her forehead.

"S- Sam she.. was shouting." Tara stuttered, her voice breaking in anger. "It was because.. she wanted me not to hang out with y- you so much, basically a bunch of
b- bullshit."

"What? That's controlling." Amber rolled her eyes, trying to make Tara feel better.

"Right! That's what I said." The shorter girl muttered, leaning more into Amber.

"Cmon, you seem tired." Amber whispered, slowly standing up, bringing Tara with her.

Amber helped Tara into the bed, tucking her in.

Amber was about to leave, going back through the window when..

"Can you stay..?" Tara mumbled.

"It's.. really late." Amber mumbled back.

"Just until I fall asleep?" The shorter girl asked, hoping Amber would fall asleep next to her.

"Fine, only because you're upset." Amber smirked.

Tara smiled as Amber got into the bed and lay next to her, wrapping her arms around her.

"Thank you, I love you." Tara smiled, leaning into Amber and cuddling her.

Amber was going to leave, but the sight of her girlfriend cuddled up to her was too cute. She instead switched her phone off and closed her eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep.
"I love you too."
