After school, Neela was re-reading one of the books in her favorite book series "Keeper of the Lost Cities" under a tree when she looked up and noticed Keefe walking towards her.
When Keefe got to Neela, she mumbled, "Here, I-I have your homework from music class."
Keefe took the homework and turned around. Neela then continued reading, until Keefe started talking, "I'm really sorry Neela. I should've told you earlier-"
"Yeah, you should've." Neela interrupted him.
Keefe scowled but continued his apology which he practiced over and over the night before, "-and I regret having a relationship with Heather-"
"Why?" Neela interrupted again.
"You're making this really hard right now, you know." Keefe snapped at her.
"Well Keefe, if you want to be in a relationship with me, gotta learn how to deal with this attitude", Neela retorted while smirking.
Keefe stared at Neela like she was crazy.
"W-wha-what?" Keefe squeaked, dumbfounded.
Neela couldn't keep smirking anymore and started to shake with laughter.
"Youwanttodateme?" Keefe said very fast.
Neela answered, popping the P, "Yup!"
