*Later that night*
Sun was having trouble sleeping and hē looked over at macaque "hey, wake up, I can't sleep" sun shoves him a bit to wake him up. Macaque rolls over "what do you want I'm trying to sleep" sun looks at macaque, macaque noticed how tired he looked and in a moment of sleep depriveity he kissed suns forehead and wrapped his arm around sun like he did when they we're dating all those years ago "just relax" sun turned red hiding in macaques chest relaxing into his fur
In the morning
Macaque wakes up noticing sun tucked against him he blushed a bit remembering the night before as he whispers to himself " did i really do that god I can't believe...I actually miss it-" the string grows to be a bit longer as he rubs suns head "he looks so gentle like this, like the wukong I loved- but that was a long time ago-" macaque looks down at sun "i should let him sleep" macaque slowly falls back to sleep holding sun close.
