"Are you guys sure about this?" Mom asks me and Bella skeptically

"Yes Mom, you and Phil can go have fun, and Bella and I can see Dad again, it's a win-win" I reply reassuringly

"But what if you change your minds? I know you love Forks, Lia but Bella you've always hated it" she continues worriedly 

"She's right Mom and besides it's not about Forks, it's about Dad. I mean, two weeks a year, we barely know each other" Bella pauses seeing that Mom's face doesn't move from it's worried state, "Mom, we want to go. We'll be fine."

Mom sighs and nods as she hugs us both before Bella and I get into the car that's gonna take us to the airport

I sigh as I watch the familiar Phoenix surroundings pass by
