When you were only a tiny child, you got trapped in the realm of demons. It took you so long to adjust, but you learned magic, flawless magic, and one day, you saw a poster. "Emperor's Coven", in bold letters on the front. Your little mind thought and decided it was the coolest coven ever, you wanted to be in there so badly. So you worked, worked, and worked. Until one day, a few years later, you finally got what you deserved. A place in the emperor's coven. When the letter arrived at the house you could barely afford, you jumped for joy. You were overwhelmingly gleeful, you couldn't wait! On the scroll, it said the date you are required to show up. You relaxed and read the date, it said in two days. The sun was beginning to set, so you rolled up the scroll and led yourself off to bed. You tried to sleep, but you were so excited. Your thoughts ran wild.

Two days later
You woke up to an obnoxious beeping sound. You assumed it was just your everyday alarm because you were so sleepy. You picked up your phone to turn it off, and read "EMPERORS COVEN DAY!!!!" Only then did the realization hit you, and you tossed yourself out of bed. You took a shower, brushed your hair, brushed your teeth, and did whatever it took to look your best. You grabbed the uniform they mailed you a day prior and put it on. You looked... FABULOUS!!
You grabbed your shoes, stepped out the door, and walked up the cliffs in a bit of a hurried way. You were so excited, yet so nervous. What if you messed up, what if you made everyone hate you? You took a deep breath in and kept going. The hills were steep up to the castle, but you kept going. Your shoes looked fine, so it wasn't like it'd hurt. Well, aside from the fact it hurt physically. But you finally made it. You reached into your pocket for the key that came with the package and proceeded to open the door. Your brain started having bad thoughts again, but this time you couldn't stop them. But you tried to push them down, nevertheless. You walked in and closed the door behind you. You then walked over to the larger door, that led to the emperor's door. You sighed, and knocked, whilst your muscles tensed up. The door opened, and you walked down. [Insert like an interview or something, I'm tired.]

Three weeks later, I'm aware it's a big gap in time.
You woke up, to the same obnoxious beeping three days prior. You got out of bed and stretched, then remembered you had a meeting today. You put on your uniform, brushed your hair, brushed your teeth, and put on your shoes. You weren't as excited as you were three weeks ago, but it wasn't horrible. You walked down the hall and knocked on the door before letting yourself in, as told you were permitted to. You walked down the rug in the room and waited for Belos to tell you what he was planning to tell you. He waited a bit until a blonde-haired male in a similar uniform to yours "Hunter. I am assigning you an assistant." the emperor said. "I don't need an assistant, sir," he said. Oh, is he too good for me? You pushed away the thought, as you didn't want your first thought about him to be negative. "Don't be stubborn, Hunter," the emperor said. "Now, since hunter has a golden mask, I will be giving you a silver mask," he said. "Thank you, sir," you politely replied. He dismissed you two, told you what to do for now, and you walked out. "So, first he said to get a staff," you said, ready to get one. "I really don't wanna do this.. but fine!" he said, very rudely. Your expression went from a calm smile to an irritated frown. You inhaled and exhaled, releasing the anger. "Well, could you show me where they are so I may pick one out?" you said. He sighed and breathed back in, "Fine." he led you down to the room where you pick your staff, and you instantly spotted a lovely one. It had a silver wing and a star, and you loved it! You instantly grasped it, and said you chose it. "Ok, after that, we're supposed to catch a criminal. They've been selling forbidden goods, like the plant for the potion of... eternal sleep." he said. "Oh, well, let's get going." you said to him. You followed him out the door and into the sky until you later reached the spot the criminal was last sighted. With the awkward atmosphere after landing, you attempted small talk. "So, uh..." you started up before he instantly cut you off. "Less talking, more finding the criminal," he said. "Oh, the criminal right there?" you pointed at the criminal. "How did..." he said, impressed while calling over a guard to capture her. "I'm just good," you said to him, bouncing on your staff to go back to the castle now that you were done there.

Sometime later?? I dunno.
Hunter's POV
I sat down on the rooftop, looking down at the specimen of the land, all buying things or selling things in the town square. My eyes landed on a pretty person, who was buying an orange-ish pink potion. I wondered what they could be buying it for, just out of curiosity. I hope they don't see me.
Your POV
You go to buy yourself an orange potion, with a pink hue to it. You know it'll help with your recent migranes, and you're glad about it. You pull a few snails from your pocket, just enough to buy the brew. After handing them to the cashier, you put the potion in your bag, and proceed to walk back. You admire the sky for a moment before you realize the golden guard looking somewhat in your direction. "Weirdo" you mumble to yourself quietly and then ignore him completely.
