TW- Death, descriptions of blood

The day of the party

The bright rays of sunlight beaming through the cracks of the blinds awoke me, my eyes slowly opening and shutting to adjust to the brightness of the sun, as I sloppily turned my body over, the fabric of the comforter brushing against my skin, as I itched to get just one more minute of rest.

But, of course now that I was living with Jay, that was no more. The girl would wake up vastly early, try not to wake me up, but fail and do so, her explanation being that, "she was bored, and couldn't wait any longer."

The girls obnoxiously loud footsteps echoed from the outside of my room, finally stopping as she had reached the door.

"Are you up Y/N?" The girls voice called, noisy enough to the point where if I wasn't up, I definitely would have been.

"How could I not be." I replied, annoyance filled my voice, but Jay really never minded, the girl knew that at the end of the day, no matter what she did, I'd still forgive her as she provides me with shelter, in reply I heard her laugh lightly.

"Alright, well get your ass outta bed, Charlie's gonna be here in about..." I heard Jay speak, as her voice trailed off a bit, assuming she's checking her watch.

"Fifteen minutes." She cheerfully spoke, as my body filled with panic, jumping straight out of my ever so comfortable bed. She really couldn't of bothered to wake me up earlier, classic Jay.

"Shit!" I mummered, speed walking to my dresser, scavenging for a presentable outfit.

"Um, ok g-give me a minute." I hollered back to Jay, as I frantically threw on a lavender color sweater I had recently bought, not bothering to change my bra, as I searched the floor for a pair of semi-clean jeans.

Locating a pair of white-washed jeans, I put my feet through the jeans holes, pulling them up, as I pulled the zipper up, and buttoned it.

Hurriedly walking across my room to get to the bathroom, I opened the wooden door as I was met with the compact bathroom, switching the light switch, causing the yellow tinted lighting to appear.
