Y/N pov:
Me and hermione and looking around for an empty compartment but we cant seem to find one.
eventually we stumble into one with two other boys who just stare at us for a second.
"hi im y/n granger" i say with a smile and i put my hand out
"ron, ron weasley" the ginger haired boy says as he shakes my hand.
hermione walked out and whispered "im finding another compartment to be alone in" i nodded and sat down next to ron.
"and you are?" i asked the raven haired boy infront of me
"harry potter" he puts his hand out and i shake it politely
~~~~AFTER A WHILE OF TALKING ABT EACHOTHER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"ron you are so gross" i laugh at the boy shoving food in his mouth
~~~~~~AT SORTING CEREMONY~~~~~
I look for hermione in the crowd of people but cant find her so i just stand with harry and ron.
i am really nervous and scared but at least i made 2 friends already.
i lightly grab rons hand out of nervousness and he does the same to mine.
he is about my height or a little taller i cant tell but thats fine.
we look at each other and it feels like we are the only two people in the world.
i smiled lightly and so did he, dang he has a cute little smile.
"HARRY POTTER" i hear his name get called as he walks up and sits down to get sorted.
a few seconds later me and ron are clenching onto each others hands for dear life out of nervousness.
another few seconds and we hear "GRYFFINDOR"
the entire table starts cheering and harry goes and sits down
"RON WEASLEY" his name get called
he looks at me and i smile at him
before he walks up he whispers to me "promise whatever houses we get we will still be friends" he held out his pinky
"promise" i say connecting our pinkies
he walks up and i bite my lip hoping we are in the same house
in a matter of seconds i hear "GRYFFINDOR"
the same table cheers and we make eye contact and give each other a slight smile
" Y/N GRANGER" 'crap' i think to myself
i walk up and feel everyones eyes on me
i sit down and close my eyes tightly hoping for gryffindor
i wait a few seconds and hear
"GRYFFINDOR"
i hear the table erupt in cheers and i smile widely and go to sit with my friends harry and ron.
next name i hear is
"HERMIONE GRANGER"
the only thoughts i have are hoping for her to be in gryffindor
"GRYFFINDOR" The table cheers and so do me ron and harry.
A/N: so in the start yn will like ron but then later on she discovers her feelings for harry👍
